** JEFFWONTLEAVE: The Irate Gamer was one of those people that because of being a over-exposed dead horse that I thought maybe, just maybe, that it would be slightly over exaggerated. And personally speaking, while a good chunk of it was head-inducingly dull, they were still watchable attempts at {{CausticCritic}} humor. That being said, during the later years where he started shoving away his fans and trying to jump on the Skylanders/Amiibo bandwagon, I did blast him for it. I could go over multiple examples of how this video was an atrocity, but since I can only do one moment, I'll highlight his experience with the "OutNerd the Nerd contest" which I was a participant in. 1: He claims that the reason his videos were like AVGN's was because he was doing this contest. Turns out the contest was announced in August 2007, and by that time, he had done 7-8 reviews by that time. 2: He claims the winner of the contest, Derek Alexander [[WebVideo/TheHappyVideoGameNerd (The Happy Video Game Nerd/Stop Skeletons From Fighting) ]] was absolutely nothing like the Nerd. That was not the point of the contest. The main goal of the contest was "Out-nerd the Nerd" as in showing your information, trivia and pride of the topic in your videos, while also having some production skills and an engaging personality. Either he just looked at the name of the contest and nothing else or he flat out lied about the contest. 3: He claims that James Rolfe had rigged the contest. Well, that's weird because according to Mike Matei, WebVideo/GameTrailers did the contest without their consent and James didn't even see the HVGN videos until after it ended. After hearing this awful, awful use of slander, I immediately began to realize how bad the Irate Gamer truly was and how I felt like a complete idiot for trying to defend him all those years. * Tropers/{{Dynaboyj}}: Another Irate Gamer moment. His Aladdin review is generally considered one of his worst, but the real DMOS is the joke "Someone call 911, because I was [[IncrediblyLamePun ROBbed]]" while holding up [[UsefulNotes/NintendoEntertainmentSystem R.O.B.]] It's completely out of context to the review.

* Main/{{minikiss}}: First things first: I do admit that I really do enjoy the Irate Gamer despite a couple of flaws. In his History of Video Games Part 10 about the UsefulNotes/{{Intellivision}}, however, there was a segment with him constantly failing at skiing and after a fake Game Over screen, which honestly I didn't cared a lot for, he then suddenly out of nowhere made a tasteless joke in expense of Sonny Bono's tragic ski accident. I defend the show at almost every occasion, however doing a joke in expense of a real life person's dead which, let's face it, isn't funny at all is probably the biggest low point anyone could ever go for a cheap gag. It's also very questionable doing such a joke considering that he stated on his Facebook page, that he wasn't able to bring the episode weeks earlier because a family member of his currently died, which makes you really wonder why he didn't cut out that joke. I don't hate Chris personally, but the Sunny Bono Gag was without a doubt the worst joke he's ever done.

* {{Tropers/GojiBiscuits}}: Bores rants and insults ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros2'' for the speed at which hearts and stars rise up towards the top of the screen, even though any normal player would need to do is jump down and grab the power-up, then simply jump back up to where they were.

* Tropers/{{terlwyth}}: His review of the Odyssey, which was laden with plenty of errors. But the worst was his "joke" about the Simon Says game for it where he adds flash cards referencing probably the only date he'll ever get after this, [[ADateWithRosiePalms one with rosie palms]] and other kind of junk like that.

His tirade about instruction manuals, saying "I can’t waste my time reading about a game, I just gotta play it!" pretty much solidifies himself as a non-gamer. Despite how he has "claimed" he's played games for about [[BlatantLies 20 years]], he acts completely surprised when he finds the third stage boss is indeed, an alien. He could have avoided it by just [[ReadTheFreakingManual reading the manual]].

* 1upmushroom: His review of ''VideoGame/GhostsNGoblins'', anyone? I can handle the poor grammar ("Most hardest game"), I can handle the pointless characters like Devil Bores and Cousin Joey, I can even handle the fact that he claims the game is too hard when the gameplay footage shows that he isn't even trying (that last one is to expected by now), I mean these aspects make the review bad [[SoBadItsGood but in a entertaining way]]. However, there are two problems that make this review worse than usual. One, the fact that he covers both the Arcade and NES version while claiming he's only doing the NES version. Now this wouldn't be a bad thing, if not for the fact that he says he's only reviewing the NES version and puts in footage of the arcade version, hoping people wouldn't notice. His reason for doing so (that being summed up as "The NES version was too hard for me to beat, so I used the Arcade version while activating the God mode cheat to show the rest of the game") makes it even worse! [[FridgeLogic Really, Chris? You included both versions because one was too hard? Well, why did you make it seem like both versions were just one? Why didn't you transition from one version to another? Why didn't you just pick the easier version to begin with?!]]

** Bengson26: Also, note on how this review has a three month gap between his previous review (the already-mentioned Aladdin review). So, he had maybe about a month or two, give or take, to play the game but all he completed is the first portion of the game. Talk about not caring.

** Tropers/StardustSoldier: What I love about that video is how pompous he makes himself look. The way he proclaims "You cannot do this to the Irate Gamer!" makes it sound like he considers himself so much more important and special than all the other people who couldn't get in.

* Sampa CM: Personally, I don't mind him that much, I like watching parodies such as the Third Rate Gamer, or take-ons such as the ''I can't believe it's not [=AVGN=]'' series by Dlabaoaqu, or the ''Irate Gamer Sucks'' blog, which are actually pretty funny. However, there are instances that, no matter mow much I try, I just can't find them funny at all. So, my personal [=DMOS=] is his review of the ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'' games for the NES. The very worst part comes when he reviews the NES port of [[VideoGame/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesTheArcadeGame the Arcade Game]] (one of my favorite games from my childhood). When he starts the game, he suddenly calls it a huge letdown and a pixelated nightmare for not having arcade-style graphics and 4-player mode. What?! It's an 8-bit port, the graphics obviously will not be the same as the Arcade version, and it only allows two players! And he doesn't even talk about the controls, which I find soft and fluid, or the gameplay. I actually find this port easier than the original Arcade version, and I really love [[AdaptationExpansion the extra stages]], but he claims that they're a waste of space, then adds that Konami should have used it to make the game closer to the Arcade version. Then he destroys the cartidge. Why? Just because of the graphics? This episode was painful: He bashes a good game such as [=TMNT2:=] The Arcade Game for NES for incredibly stupid reasons (The graphics, the 2-player mode, which he actually praises in [[VideoGame/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesTurtlesInTime Turtles In Time]], showing that he can't even make his mind about it), and I find this episode too painful to watch again... At least the oiginal episode, I can still enjoy Dlabaoaqu's take-on in his ''I can't believe it's not [=AVGN=]'' series, or the severe critic made in the ''Irate Gamer Sucks'' blog.

** sebek: My favourite moment is when he complains about the laser upgrade: "This laser gun will only travel a few inches from your player [sic], if you keep pressing the fire button way too fast. [...] Avoid it like the fucking plague, because if you touch it you're as good as dead!" Really? "If you keep using it wrong, it will be useless"? Maybe... stop hammering the fire button? He then immediately goes on to complain that all guns except the machine gun require you to keep tapping the fire button in order to keep shooting. The laser is another one of those weapons you don't need to constantly keep firing! Think, aim and shoot! Not that any of this actually matters, since he's just holding down the turbo button anyway.

* Tropers/TommyX: His review of ''VideoGame/SonicUnleashed''. He played the first two Sonic levels and said they were good. Then he said the Adventure Fields, Werehog, and plane levels suck and don't belong in a Sonic game, saying stuff like, "Since when has Sonic been this?" YMMV on the Werehog, but Adventure Fields were in the previous ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure'', and Sonic has been riding on Tails' plane since ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2'', and there are only two of these levels in the whole game. If you're going to criticise a main part of the game, play more than the first level and do basic research.
