* StarCrossedLovers: "Alone" is about a couple who want to be together but can't because fear of judgement [=/=] fear of the unconventional [=/=] ''something'' is keeping them apart. Instead, each of the couple sticks with the familiar, but they remain separated as a result. Exactly which demographic the song is referring to is left for the listener to decide.

* HeroicMime: Johnny pulls this off with The Protagonist in ''VideoGame/{{Persona 4}}'' and in the few instances in which he speaks, he sounds more like a Power Ranger (he calls out almost every Persona like he's saying "IT'S MORPHING TIME!"). Though in ''Arena'', he's a mime no longer and sounds quite a fair bit like Adachi. To try and fix this, Adachi sounds much raspier in ''The Animation'' while Yu sounds more neutral. Also worth noting is that Johnny is one of three voice actors to play a character in Persona 4 and not get recast at any point after (the others being Creator/YuriLowenthal as Yosuke and Creator/AmandaWinnLee as Yukiko).

* NotChristianRock: Some songs mention God, angels, and, in the case of the album "Xmas", Jesus. Many others were written to have a wider appeal, and can be interpreted as alternately religious or romantic.
