Craig Douglas McCracken (born March 31, 1971) is an American animator, responsible for the Creator/CartoonNetwork cartoons, ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'', as well as ''WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends''. Born in Chareloi, Pennsylvania his family moved to Whitter, California after [=McCracken=]'s father died when he was seven. He went to the California Institute of Arts, where he formed a strong friendship with Creator/GenndyTartakovsky and Rob Renzetti (''WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot''). The friendship is evident in the cooperation between series. After graduating he got his start on ''WesternAnimation/TwoStupidDogs''. He created a cartoon called "Whoopass Stew," and the idea eventually became ''The Powerpuff Girls''.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'' [[note]]''Only'' the original version. He was not at all involved in the 2016 reboot, as he does not own the rights to the show, much to his annoyance[[/note]]

* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Genndy Tartakovsky. Although he claims that they aren't as close as they once were, most likely due to their careers taking different paths after they both left Creator/CartoonNetwork.
