After some [[CultureClash massive misunderstandings]], she operated for a very long time under the pretense that she is the main character of an extremely intricate and unusual DatingSim...until she "[[TheyDo won]]". Now she continues to travel the multiverse alongside her [[OT3 husband and wife Imca and Falken]], trying to be the bumbling heroine she's always aspired to be.

Eventually, Spike's past catches up with him big time. Vicious does confirm that Spike is alive, and it turns into a full on hunt as Vicious tries to take over the Red Dragon Syndicate. Spike and Julia reconcile and plan on running away, but before they can she dies in a shootout with Vicious' men. After saying goodbye to Jet and the crew, Spike decides to go StormingTheCastle and cuts a swath through The Syndicate to get to Vicious. The two wound each other, with Vicious dying right away, while Spike lives long enough to see the dawn, walk back downstairs, and whisper "Bang" to the stunned members of the Syndicate before collapsing. It's unclear whether or not he DOES die. Interesting side note: Spike Spiegel dies (MAYBE) at the age of 27, the same age as many legendary rock figures like Music/RobertJohnson, [[Music/TheRollingStones Brian Jones]], Music/JimiHendrix, Music/JanisJoplin, [[Music/TheDoors Jim Morrison]], Music/KurtCobain, and many others.

Sometimes it seems that it has its own conscience and has on some occasions [[PortalBook trapped Jeff within itself]] as he attempted to cast teleportation spells.
