A [[GameMod ROM hacker]] and former main video editor for Vinny's streams. While his original hack, ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros3Mix'', was streamed on Vinesauce (specifically, by Vinny), he is primarily known on Vinesauce for his abridged versions of the WebVideo/VinesauceTomodachiLife streams, which he later followed up with his ''WebVideo/MayorVine'' series of abridged versions of Vinny's ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewLeaf'' streams (with that series beginning in 2016) and the abridged versions of the WebVideo/VinesauceMiitopia streams (which started in 2017).

He worked on various edits of Vinny's streams (both on his own channel and Vinny's), rather than just the ''Tomodachi Life'' ones. Generally, the edits on Vinny's channel are similar in content to the ones Vinny himself makes, while the ones on his own channel, aside from the ''Tomodachi Life'', ''Animal Crossing'', and ''Miitopia'' videos, tend to have more miscellaneous content, such as various anecdotes and stories Vinny has shared during streams.

He started [[https://www.twitch.tv/captainsouthbird/profile streaming himself]] in 2016 and his channel features videos featuring various hacked games, particularly from the ''Animal Crossing'' series, in addition to highlight videos for Vinny's streams. On April 22, 2020, he sadly died due to cardiac arrest brought about by COVID-19.

* HappilyAdopted: Fond of Vinny, whose good caretaking allowed him to become a streamer in his own right.
* MeaningfulName: His full name is "Gnorts Mr. Alien", in reference to Neil Armstrong's name spelled backwards. He's also, well, a male alien.
* PlatonicCoParenting: Vinny and V-Dub are {{Sitcom ArchNemesis}}es ([[{{Kayfabe}} and definitely not the same person]]), but both of them treat him like adopted son of sorts and [[TakingTheKids argue]] over who is the better mentor figure to him.
