Dominic Nicholson is Unreality's 13-year-old protagonist. Dominic used to be just like every other kid character in fiction, & then one day when he was 10, he met the woman of his dreams, Sarah, & soon enough Dominic went from being just like every other kid character in fiction, to being just like every kid in real life, Angsty, Cynical, & more Sexually Insecure than an entire Middle School Anime Club!


* EightiesHair: Dominic has a very distinct Mullet.

* AgeAppropriateAngst: He's 13, so that checks out.

* CasanovaWannabe: he constantly fantasizes of Creaming The Twinkie with Sarah, in spite of how inherently Messed-Up that is, on top of being [[PunnyName unrealistic]].
* ChivalrousPervert: Dominic almost never makes any sexual advances towards Sarah, in spite of the fact that he is very clearly sexually attracted towards her.
* TheCutie: not really in terms of his behavior (see CasanovaWannabe above.), but more in his appearance, as when The Author was designing Dominic, he specifically wanted a character that Female Audiences would find cute.
* DeadpanSnarker: Dominic's all kinds of this.

* JerkAssFacade: Dominic has a tendency to act VERY Passive-Aggressively towards everyone he knows, even his own girlfriend! Though they all know that he never really means it.
* JerkAssWoobie: Basically his defining characteristic.
* LoserProtagonist: subverted, as this Cynical Little Ball Of Concentrated Sexual Insecurity, managed to find himself hooked up with one of the most attractive girls in his school.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Quite Literally, as when Dominic initially met Sarah, she was the most physically attractive woman he had ever seen at that time.
* PrecociousCrush: Dominic used to feel this way towards Sarah, until they became a [[OfficialCouple full-on couple]] after Sarah decided to reciprocate his affections (in what was partly an act of Spite.).
* QuestForSex: Dominic has made it his Mission to Score with or at the very least Make Out with Sarah, even if that's likely never going to happen as neither of them are adults.

If you think Sarah is just like any other 16-year-old girl, then yeah, you'd be right, except for the fact that she willingly decided to hook herself up with a 13-year-old which is definitely NOT something any other self-respecting 16-year-old girl would do. Nevertheless, Sarah Garcia is Dominic's girlfriend and Unreality's {{Deuteragonist}}. She's defined by her Cute, Bubbly personality, & her Unnaturally Large [[GagBoobs "Dairy Section"]]


* TheCutie: Dominic remarks multiple times throughout the comic about how adorable Sarah is.
* TheDitz: Sarah's this in spades.
* {{Expy}}: Her personality was inspired by Lum from ''Manga/UruseiYatsura'', while her appearance was inspired by ''Anime/MajokkoMegChan''.
