-->''"I want to become a better mage. I was weak, and I almost lost my mother because of that. I won't let it happen again!"''

A white mage, daughter of Varalia, and a loyal follower of the Cardian church's teachings. She practically worships high cleric Ferron and is quite idealistic, sometimes clashing with the Alliance's darker members. However, after she has witnessed many dark events and betrayals, she decides to change her outlook on life and becomes more determined to serve the side of what she believes is good. She is conflicted about opposing her mother because they work for different sides, but she nevertheless loves her.

Associated tropes:
* HalfHumanHybrid: She's a half-elf.
* HeroWorshipper: Unithien is awed whenever she sees Ferron, the high cleric of her faith, in person, and she considers him one of the wisest men in the world and a truly great leader who inspires his clergy through his actions. However, Ferron is in fact a VillainWithGoodPublicity who is good at manipulating his cleric underlings such as Unithien who still hasn't realized Ferron's true character.
* ImportantHaircut: Unithien cuts her hair and starts dressing in less robe-y clothes, which signifies her growth into a more determined woman. Despite this she still can't put aside a few things which have dominated her life such as her basically worshipping high cleric Ferron, but she's slowly getting better at becoming more and more independent.
* MadScientistsBeautifulDaughter: Unithien is the daughter of Varalia, one of the prominent villainesses. She grew up apart from her mother when they were separated in her youth. Eventually they found themselves on opposite sides but recognized each other instantly during one conflict where their parties met, but this reunion surprised other heroes who weren't expecting such a connection between the two. Both love each other dearly, but they also lament the fact that they're working for each other's enemies and can't reconcile each other's opposing beliefs. This fact troubles Unithien greatly, and she wonders if there's any way she can find a way to live a normal life with her mother in the war-torn world.
* TheMedic: Her role is primarily that of a healer, and she's proud of all the lives she's saved.
* UnresolvedSexualTension: With Nesa and Refan. Although she's attracted to Nesa for several reasons, she has never acted it out because he already has a girlfriend. She feels she can better help Nesa succeed in his mission by staying friends because any relationship would only complicate their friendship further. She's also confused about her feelings for Refan, partly because his demonic charisma draws her to him.
* WhiteMagic: She excels at casting above average white magic spells.

Both love each other dearly, but they also lament the fact that they're working for each other's enemies and can't reconcile each other's opposing beliefs.
