[[IsThatAThreat "Is that supposed to frighten me?]] You two are so pathetic I don't even need to ''stand'' to defeat you!"you!"
** Later in the extended version "I've survived far worse than that pathetic attempt! Hundreds of worlds, countless enemies have fallen before me! And now you will be added to the list of the defeated and forgotten!" For the record, said pathetic attempt involved being impaled, severely electrocuted, hit with a double FinishingMove, and being in his ship when it exploded.

Added DiffLines:

* RedOniBlueOni: He is rash, impulsive, and arrogant compared to Vrak's cool, collected, and cunning demeanor.

* LegacyCharacter: As a silver ranger who's an alien and joins the team as the sixth ranger, he's one to [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace Zhane]] and [[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive Tyzonn]], having more in common with the latter than the former. His power, however, arguably make him one to every SixthRanger in ''Power Rangers'' history.

Added DiffLines:

* GreaterScopeVillain: He's the father of Vrak and Vekar and is the true leader of the armada. However, he's too busy running his empire to deal with Earth. He makes his first appearance in a flashback during "All Hail Prince Vekar" and is only involved in the final three episodes after his sons are defeated.

* GenreSavvy: It took all of two episodes for him to decide to deal with the Rangers '''before''' proceeding with his planned invasion.

** DangerouslyGenreSavvy: Calls the Zombats BEFORE being defeated, and also gives Vrak orders to crash the Warstar ship into the Earth as a back-up plan.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: In "Who's Crying Now?", he wants to draw out the Rangers, specifically Troy, to finally kill them off. How does he do that? By looking for some people to attack, and, when that doesn't go as well as he planned, set out to outright ''destroy the city by himself''.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: [[spoiler:When he returns in Super Mega Force. Not only does he ''turn the Ranger Keys to stone'' and disable the Rangers new powers, his plan involves letting them destroy his monster ''intentionally'' so it can absorb the energy of their attacks and create a second drill. He also kidnapped ''both'' {{Sixth Ranger}}s, draining Orion's power and brainwashing Robo Knight into his slave.]]

* AdaptationalBadass: Much more competent and more of a threat compared to his Sentai counterpart, [[spoiler:at least at the start]]. See DangerouslyGenreSavvy below for an example of this.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: You know that one complaint to most villains? You know, "Just send one monster after another"? Vekar pulls off that on his first day on the job.
** His next plan is 'try to nuke every major city on earth at once to crush mankind's spirit.' Destroying the controls rendered that useless, but if the missiles had launched it was unlikely the Rangers could have stopped ''every'' missile. The only other problem was setting the timer.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: When he realizes the Rangers are looking for something, he instantly figures out it's a weapon or machine of some sort and sends out a monster to go track it down.

** His reaction in the extended cut to [[spoiler:tanking a double FinishingMove, being electrocuted, and then going down with his ship in a massive explosion]] is to basically shrug it off and say 'Eh, I've survived worse.'

* RasputinianDeath: [[spoiler:Not ''nearly'' as big of one as his Japanese self, but still notable. He has a control console explode in his face, is then impaled and driven into the main console of the ship, resulting in a malfunction that ''electrocutes him'' (given this also causes several large explosions throughout the ship, that was probably a lot of electricity), and finally shot with a double FinishingMove, causing said console to explode. And if somehow survived ''all of that'', he died when his ship exploded with him inside it. The extended edition adds in the same land battle that Ackdos Gill went through, minus the pre-Zyuranger teams: he takes several combination attacks from past Ranger teams, Orion's Gold Mode finisher, an attack by all six Rangers in Super Modes and a new team energy slash finisher, followed by a point-blank shot from the Super Mega Cannon to finally end him.]]

* {{Badass}}: More than capable of holding his own in a fight, and is at first shown as being in a whole other league than the Rangers.

* {{Badass}}: Takes out an entire platoon of X-Borgs by himself and spent his entire debut episode basically doing their jobs for them.

* BigGood: Gave the Rangers their powers and serves as a mentor figure to the Rangers, just like hi teacher.
* CrazyPrepared: Unlike his teacher, who sent the Rangers to go get their new powers and Zords when the last ones failed, Gosei had the audacity to ''have'' new powers and Zords set up for just an emergency.
** Due to how the non-Power Rangers Sentai teams are being handled, he also didn't ''just'' settle for Earth Teams and got powers from ''Alien'' ranger teams.
