* GenreSavvy: Given that he was raised by two powerful heroes, he's already quite aware of the various conventions of his world. This, combined with OnlySaneMan, is a large part of how he's still alive.

* IndyPloy: Tyler's greatest asset outside of his GenreSavvy and being the OnlySaneMan is that he's extremely good at thinking on his feet. The Bureau of Alien Monitoring deception that both the teachers of [=PS238=] and the Revenant used to their benefit? Tyler came up with that on the spot when Cecil was questioning him. Given that he took a quick look around when fighting Charles and came up plans to counter what Charles was likely able to do based on that, he's training to become an expert at XanatosSpeedChess.

A deeply unpleasant middle school student and a delinquent. He becomes Tyler's "ArchEnemy" (by popular vote from Tyler's GenreSavvy classmates), despite not being metahuman. He later awakens to metahuman powers due to manipulation by the Lords of Order and Chaos, has a brief stint as a wannabe supervillain, and is last seen abducted by the "Guys in Gold Armor".

* GenreSavvy: Shows it off less frequently than Tyler, but he's had enough experience with supers that he's able to predict what will happen in many circumstances.

* MeaningfulName: His first name means 'Blind' in Latin, fitting for one who spends most of the plot 'blind' to what is really going on. As for his second name... hm, wonder what someone named ''Holmes'' could be like.

The only member of the staff with [[http://ps238.nodwick.com/comic/01082007/ any actual experience teaching]] before working at [=PS238=], and therefore someone the rest of the teachers refer to when they need help.
