!!Prince Henry
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Henry_Sr_8518.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''Henry:''' ''"I would die for her!"'']]
->'''Played By:''' Tony Perez, Zak Santiago (younger Henry)

The husband of Cora, who is quite benevolent towards his daughter, the Evil Queen, and always sticks by her side.
----

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Ethnicities are never confirmed in the Enchanted Forest, but it's obvious that he and his family are meant to be Hispanic as he, his younger self, and his father are all played by Latino actors.
* DotingParent: To Regina.
* ExtremeDoormat: To both his wife and his daughter. "The Miller's Daughter" shows that despite clearly showing concern over his father's treatment of peasants, he didn't have the spine to stand up to him either.
* GoodIsBoring: He's one of the nicest, kindest characters in the series, his only (admittedly major) flaw being that he doesn't seem to be able to deal with strong-willed people. Cora admits she doesn't love him, and his father just shrugs and says "not much there to love".
* HenpeckedHusband: He rarely stands up against his wife concerning her treatment of Regina.
* ImpoverishedPatrician: [[spoiler:He and his father King Xavier in "The Miller's Daughter", which is why the king wants Henry's bride-to-be to spin straw into gold]].
* IWasQuiteALooker: As seen in "The Miller's Daughter".
* KilledOffForReal: Regina killed him in order to cast the curse.
* OldRetainer: Subverted. The old butler-looking man loyally listening to the Queen's every rant is, in fact, her dad.
* UglyGuyHotWife: With Cora. Not so much when he was a young man.
* TheUnfavorite: His family views him as more of an asset rather than as a person. When Cora tells his father she doesn't love Henry, his father just shrugs.
* WellDoneSonGuy: His father really doesn't give a damn about him beyond seeing him as a possible asset to be used.

!!Prince Phillip

[[caption-width-right:350:'''Prince Phillip:''' ''"There are new dangers now; but they're nothing we can't handle."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Julian Morris

A prince shielded from the Dark Curse who travels with Mulan to find Princess Aurora.
----

* [[spoiler:BackForTheFinale: With Princess Aurora and Mulan when they find Neal washed up on an Enchanted Forest beach at the end of Season 2. Thus far there hasn't been an explanation as to how Mulan and Aurora managed to get his soul back though.]]
* [[spoiler:BalefulPolymorph]]: [[spoiler:Maleficent turned him into a Yaoguai before he went on to rescue Aurora and was saved by Belle]]. Poor kid can't catch a break!
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Both brown.
* [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice: when marked by the wraith, he goes off by himself so his companions won't get hurt by it.]]
* [[spoiler:NotQuiteDead]]: [[spoiler:Toyed with, at least. His soul was stolen... which means it can be RETURNED!]]
* [[spoiler: UnexplainedRecovery: In the second season's finale]].
* [[spoiler:WeHardlyKnewYe: Dies in the first episode he appeared.]]

!!King Leopold
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/King_Leopold_3295.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''King Leopold:''' ''"I seek nothing more than the happiness of all who set foot in my kingdom."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Richard Schiff

The father of Snow White and husband of Queen Eva, then later, Regina.
----

* HundredPercentAdorationRating: Everyone in his kingdom loves him.
* DotingParent: To Snow.
* ForHappiness: He only wants to happiness of all who live in his kingdom, so when he is given three wishes, King Leopold first wishes the genie free, and then wishes that his third wish be used for the genie's own use.
* TheGoodKing: He doesn't have a HundredPercentAdorationRating for nothing.
* KilledOffForReal: By the genie of the lamp.
* TheMourningAfter: He only married Regina because she was the first woman to show interest in his daughter. He's still very much in love with his first wife.
* OldManMarryingAChild: King Leopold is significantly older that second wife Regina. When they married, he was already an old man while she was in her late teens. Of course, it's implied to be a sexless marriage, since he all but states he's marrying to give his daughter a new mother rather than himself a new wife.
** MayDecemberRomance: With Snow's mother as seen in "The Queen is Dead".
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Takes the initiative when he learns Regina is eloping with another man.
* UglyGuyHotWife: With Regina and Eva. Not really ugly, though, just old.

!!Queen Eva
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/215Heavierthanitlooks_747.jpg]]
->'''Played By:''' Rena Sofer, Eva Allen (young Princess Eva)

Snow White's beloved mother.
----
* CharacterDevelopment: When she's much younger in ''The Miller's Daughter'', she spitefully trips Cora, claims the other woman hurt her and [[RoyalBrat is generally an enormous brat]]. By the time of ''The Queen is Dead'', she's much kinder and is quick to curtail Snow's own rather bratty behavior.
* KilledOffForReal: By Cora.
* TheLostLenore: To King Leopold.
* PosthumousCharacter: The first time she is mentioned, she is already dead.
* RichBitch: Formerly.
* RoyalBrat: In her youth.
* StartOfDarkness: Not hers in particular, but her behavior towards Cora is the starting point of all the bad blood between Cora, Regina, and Snow's family.
* TookALevelInKindness: She's much more benevolent in "The Queen is Dead" compared to her bratty behaviour in "The Miller's Daughter".
** BecameTheirOwnAntithesis: In fact, her parenting towards Snow shows she has the exact ''opposite'' outlook on life as she used to have. She used to not give a damn for peasants and mess with them for her own amusement, now she insists that everyone must be treated kindly regardless of social status.
* UglyGuyHotWife: With King Leopold.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: When she was a spoiled child, if she hadn't tripped Cora and spitefully claimed she hurt her, the feud between Cora, Regina and her daughter's family would have never happened.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Inverted; Eva's a sweet adult who used to be a massive RichBitch.

!!Prince James
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PrinceJamesEvil_4993.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''Prince James:''' ''"Next time, make sure I am really dead."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Josh Dallas

David's twin, who was adopted by King George and raised in his image. James was set to marry Princess Abigail until his sudden death.
----
* AdiposeRex: To show the difference between Prince James and Charming, Josh Dallas wears a slight fat suit to show that Prince James is in a little worse shape than Charming/David is.
* AssholeVictim: "Tiny" retroactively shows that he was this.
* BaitTheDog: When we first see him in "The Shepherd", we get the impression that he was just as strong and brave as Charming... really, considering his father, we should have known better.
* BirdsOfAFeather: He and Jack are a perfect match in bloodlust, lust for riches, regular lust, manipulation...
* CoitusUninterruptus: He's in bed with his [[FriendWithBenefits um...friend]] Jacqueline (Jack). He doesn't even bother covering her up when Daddy walks in to talk business.
* EvilTwin: To Prince Charming.
* FauxAffablyEvil: He acts as charming as Charming, but is really [[PrinceCharmless anything but.]]
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: How he dies.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: See OverlordJr.
* KilledOffForReal: In his first few minutes of screentime!
* ManipulativeBastard: Manipulating a naive giant who just wanted to explore and make friends, then taking advantage of his offer of ''help'' to go up the beanstalk, rob the place, kill Anton's entire family, and then James tops this off by leaving Jacqueline (Jack) to hang after getting away with the goods. The guy might have ''fewer'' scruples than his already-vile old man, who we at least know loved his late wife and James.
* OverlordJr: Saying he responded more favorably to King George's parenting style than Charming would be an understatement.
* PolarOppositeTwins: With Charming.
* PosthumousCharacter: After his death, David takes his place.
* PrinceCharmless: In direct opposition to his twin brother.
* TemptingFate: Despite his [[IronicEcho quip]] to Behemoth about falling for someone PlayingPossum, he himself fails to check that ''he'' is dead. [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice Oops]]...

!!King Midas
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/King_Midas_3471.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''King Midas:''' ''"Be careful...remember what happened to Frederick."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Alex Zahara

The wealthy father of Princess Abigail who has the ability to turn anything into gold.
----

* BlessedWithSuck: Anything he touches turns into gold, [[spoiler:even his own daughter's love interest]].
* MealTicket: King George wants his son to marry Midas' daughter in the hopes that Midas will use his power to restore his kingdom's wealth.

!!King Xavier
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ouat216_040_3300.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''King Xavier:''' ''"Love...is weakness."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Joaquim de Almeida

The father of Prince Henry, and Regina's grandfather.
----

* TheBully: To Cora and to a lesser extent, his son.
* TheCorrupter: Is nothing but disdainful and bullying to Cora until she actually spins straw into gold and he realizes that he has more in common with her than he thought. He then persuades her to come fully to his side and way of living, ending the episode actually calling her "daughter".
* FauxAffablyEvil: He's polite only so much as he is sardonic and cruel.
* GoldDigger: To an extent. He's more than willing to sell off his son to the highest bidder in order to be rich again.
* ImpoverishedPatrician: His kingdom is suffering from a lack of wealth.
* {{Jerkass}}: A big-time case of it.
* LoveIsAWeakness: He's where Cora picks this catch phrase up from.
* ManipulativeBastard: He can read people like Cora well enough to know their feelings, and thus can use words to sway them to his way of thinking.
* TheSociopath: He doesn't love anyone, not even his own son!
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: He's a hell of a lot like King George. A sociopathic king desperately trying to marry his son off to someone rich enough to save his kingdom? Hell, they even share the line, 'Love is a weakness' ('a disease' in King George's case). Though Xavier might actually be ''worse'': at least King George actually loved his (first) son.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: When [[spoiler: Cora goes to rip his heart out so she can marry Rumpel instead of his son]], he gives her a short speech about how LoveIsAWeakness and all that matters is power. This speech causes her to change her mind and [[spoiler: remove ''her own'' heart instead, rendering her unable to love Rumpel or anyone else]]. This, in turn, causes her to become the EvilSorceress we're introduced to in Season 1. Basically, Xavier helped cause the next fifty or so years of misery with nothing more than a few words.
* WellDoneSonGuy: He doesn't much like his son.
-->'''Cora:''' I don't love your son.\\
'''King Xavier:''' I didn't expect you to. Not much there to love, frankly.

!!Prince Eric
->'''Played By:''' [=Gil McKinney=]

The potential true love of Ariel who plans to travel to unknown lands.
----
* HeroesWantRedheads: He falls in love with Ariel, a gorgeous redhead.
* LoveAtFirstSight
* NiceGuy: When offering Ariel to come travel the world with him he is careful not to pressure her or create a QuestionableConsent situation due to his royal rank.
* PrinceCharming: He establishes himself as a very polite and courteous royal in the few scenes he has with Ariel.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Eric seems fairly active, he was on a ship the first time he met Ariel and plans to travel the world.

->'''Played By:''' Kristin Bauer

An old friend of the Evil Queen and archenemy to Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora.
----

* BlondesAreEvil: She's a blonde in this show.
* CoolPet: She has a unicorn.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Refuses to let Regina have the Dark Curse back without a fight.
* HornedHumanoid: {{Invoked}} with her... hat-thing.
* HotWitch: Much prettier than the Disney version.
* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: Her transformation.
* ModeLock: [[spoiler:Her punishment in Storybrooke was to be trapped in her dragon form]].
* OnlyFriend: To the Evil Queen.
* [[spoiler: OurGhostsAreDifferent:]] After Emma kills her, [[spoiler: she returns as a shade]].
* ScaledUp: Of course. [[spoiler:And she's {{Mode Lock}}ed to this form in Storybrooke]].

[[caption-width-right:350:'''The Blind Witch:''' ''"I smell dinner!"'']]
->'''Played By:''' Emma Caulfield

A cannibalistic witch living in a house made out of gingerbread and other sweets.
----

* HotWitch: To an almost disturbingly sexual degree.
* ImAHumanitarian: She eats children.
* KillItWithFire: How she dies.
* TheNoseKnows: She has a very good sense of smell and is able to sense the things around her. However, this could be because of her blindness enhancing her other senses to make up for her one lost sense.

->'''Played By:''' Ken Kramer

A dwarf in a position of leadership.
----

* DaChief: To the dwarves in the mines.
* FantasyForbiddingFather: Though not his literal father, Bossy keeps Dreamy from leaving the mines to travel the world with Nova.
* MeaningfulName: He's named "Bossy" because he's the boss, but he doesn't embody the word's more negative connotations.

->'''Played By:''' Jorge Garcia
->'''Centric Episodes:''' "Tiny"

The last surviving giant following the brief war between humanity and the peaceful giant race.
----

* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: All of his brothers think he's weird for his fixation with humans.
* [[spoiler:BroughtDownToNormal]]: In Storybrooke.
* {{Expy}}:
** Fascinated by human culture to the point of becoming one despite the warnings of family not to trust those bloodthirsty fiends? [[Disney/TheLittleMermaid It's surprising when he]] ''[[Disney/TheLittleMermaid doesn't]]'' [[Disney/TheLittleMermaid start singing Part Of Your World]].
** He plays a stolen harp, lives up a beanstalk and has a scene where he walks through a modern human residence. Sound familiar? Probably not, because it's an obscure reference to Disney's classic short ''Mickey and the Beanstalk'', part of their 1947 film ''FunAndFancyFree''.
* GentleGiant: Develops into this at the end of "Tiny".
* HiddenDepths: [[spoiler:It turns out that the version of the war against the giants we heard was severely [[WrittenByTheWinners skewed by the victors]]. They weren't evil, and now the one giant left wears the now useless magic bean on a necklace as a reminder that humans are all killers]].
* IJustWantToBeNormal: He's fascinated by human culture and wants to become one of them.
* IronicNickname: Anton is originally [[EmbarrassingNickname called Tiny]] because he is the smallest of the giants. He later gets the same name from a pickaxe when he joins the dwarves.
* LastOfHisKind: Due to Prince James and Jack's murder of his family.
* [[spoiler:MisunderstoodLonerWithAHeartOfGold]]: In both "Tallahassee" and "Tiny".
* OnlySaneMan: The only giant who thinks to question why they still harvest magic beans, since they no longer do anything with them after cutting off contact with humans.
* TheRuntAtTheEnd: See IronicNickname.

* GreenEyes: Something she shares [[spoiler:with her mother and daughter]].
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: Holds this view point.
* [[spoiler:KilledOffForReal]]: [[spoiler:She tried to kill Snow. Red didn't approve]].
* TheLeader: Of the pack.
* MeaningfulName: In Sanskrit, Anita means "without guile; leader", which makes sense since she's the head of the wolf pack.
* [[spoiler:MissingMom]]: [[spoiler:To Red]].
* OfCorsetsSexy: We first see her in a rather revealing corset and leather pants much like another character we've seen before. Given how the show rarely does things without reason, the savvy viewer should figure out at least some of the spoilers.
* ProudWarriorRaceGirl: She holds werewolves in high regard and is dedicated to fighting hunters [[spoiler:and killing humans before they get the chance to kill one of her kind]].

* [[spoiler:AssholeVictim]]: [[spoiler:Once Rumpelstiltskin catches up with her again, she swiftly becomes this]].
* [[spoiler: DiedInYourArmsTonight: In Hook's.]]
* DomesticAbuser: YMMV, but considering what Rumpelstiltskin was like at the time and the way that she treats him - constantly insulting and belittling him, not to mention her neglect of their son Baelfire, she may count as the psychological/emotional variety.
* EvilCounterpart: Not ''evil'', but a less pleasant one to Belle, both women who had trouble in their relationships with Rumpelstiltskin and who dreamed of having more in life.
* {{Jerkass}}: To Rumpelstiltskin once he ends up abandoning fighting in the war, even though the only reason he did it was to live for her and Baelfire's sake.

* FauxAffablyEvil: They seem jovial and likable, but are in fact greedy sociopaths.
* ForTheEvulz: "It's the principle of the thing!"
* {{Jerkass}}: To put it mildly. They are so unrepentantly depraved, they make the Evil Queen look cuddly by comparison.
* KarmaHoudini: Jiminy's parents escaped any real repercussions for all the thieving and such that they did/made Jiminy do.
* {{Manipulative Bastard}}s: Especially to their poor son.
* TheSociopath: Both of them. They gleefully swindle and steal from everyone they come across, not because they need the money but because they live by the credo that if you aren't taking from others, you're the one getting taken from. * TheDreaded: He's the Dark One, so everyone fears him.
* ICannotSelfTerminate: What he personally believes, anyway.
* IKnowYourTrueName: Knowing this allows a person to control him and a magic dagger.
* ManipulativeBastard: To Rumple.
* MeaningfulName: His name may be related to the entity "zozo", which is said to be a malevolent spirit - sometimes called "the spirit of destruction".

By reversing it, it reverses the meaning making the name "Zoso" mean to injure or put in harms way.

* ButtMonkey: To some extent. He attempts to rescue Belle from Rumplestiltskin, but he ends up getting turned into a rose. That gets clipped by Belle. And proceeds to be in the same room where Belle pretty much expresses her dislike for him. And that was the last [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse we ever saw of him]].
* CurbStompBattle: He's a flower before he even gets his challenge out.
* DisposableFiancee: Of the Bland Perfection type. Rumplestiltskin actually literally disposes of him in his second and final scene. To add insult to injury, Belle freely admits she never loved him because he was so flat a character.
* TooDumbToLive: Challenging a powerful sorcerer all by himself, armed only with a sword, and introducing himself with an [[MyNameIsInigoMontoya Inigo Montoya]]-style monologue rather than attacking. He ends up being [[KilledMidSentence turned into a rose mid-sentence]].

A skilled fighter who, along with James, defeated the giants in order to take their magic beans.

* AdaptationalVillainy: ''Once'' goes full Terry Pratchett on just how awful and not "fairy tale-y" [[Literature/JackAndTheBeanstalk invading someone's home, stealing their stuff, and then murdering them can be]].
* BirdsOfAFeather: She and James could never have found better matches for themselves. All things considered, [[spoiler:she should have seen him abandoning her coming]].
* BloodKnight: She kills for the joy of killing.
* CoolSword: Carried a poisoned sword inscribed with her name.
* EvilCounterpart: Jack is essentially the Snow White to James's Charming.
* ForegoneConclusion: As soon as she reveals her name to be Jack while talking to the giant Anton, any troper familiar with fairy tales pretty much knows how the episode is going to end...
* GenderFlip[=/=]TomboyishName:
** The hero of Literature/JackAndTheBeanstalk is named Jacqueline.
** Also the subject of an InUniverse GenderFlip. Hook is under the impression that Jack the Giant Killer was a man.
* HistoricalHeroUpgrade: An InUniverse example. Jack is remembered in the realms as a brave crusader against the terrifying giant forces in a war rather than a sociopath who murdered every member of a family but one by combining breaking-and-entering, theft, and the desire to excite herself by facing a giant. She's also remembered as a man for some reason.
* {{Pride}}: "You are a true wonder." "I know."
* SamusIsAGirl: We first meet her as a skeleton with a sword that has Jack written on it, so Emma can be forgiven (especially with the original fairy tale in her head) for never realizing she was a woman.
* TheSociopath: Not so much as James, since she truly seems to love him, but suffers a severe LackOfEmpathy all the same.
* TheVamp: The way she likes to act.

* OccultBlueEyes: Again, on her freakin' ''hands''.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Her words to Rumple [[spoiler:led to his first dishonor]] and the prophecy of Rumple's greatest threat has driven Rumple for well over 300 years, and the fact [[spoiler:it is his own grandson]] just adds to the impact.

This was then inverted for season 3, where he was barely mentioned in the trailers despite the creators teasing [[spoiler: him having a relationship with Regina.]]
* TheArcher
* BullyingADragon: He knowingly entered the Dark One's home to steal from it.
* ItsAllMyFault: He fully blames himself for [[spoiler:getting Marian killed because he took a job after their child was born and she got killed as a result]].
* TheOtherDarrin: Replaced by Sean Maguire in season 3.
* PapaWolf: He's very protective of his son Roland since Marian's death and so he's reluctant to use him to catch Peter Pan's shadow.

* RightBehindMe: A variant. One of the knights calls Regina ugly while right in front of the disguised Regina.

The goddess of the sea, who most believe to just be a myth.
----

* BerserkButton: She does ''not'' take it well, when people impersonate her. She will get ''pissed''
* CombatTentacles: As per Disney tradition.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Ethnicities are never confirmed in the Enchanted Forest, but it's obvious that he and his family are meant to be Hispanic as he, his younger self, and his father are all played by Latino actors.
* DotingParent: To Regina.

* UglyGuyHotWife: With King Leopold.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: When she was a spoiled child, if she hadn't tripped Cora and spitefully claimed she hurt her, the feud between Cora, Regina and her daughter's family would have never happened.

* EvilTwin: To Prince Charming.

The guy might have ''fewer'' scruples than his already-vile old man, who we at least know loved his late wife and James.
* OverlordJr: Saying he responded more favorably to King George's parenting style than Charming would be an understatement.

* ImpoverishedPatrician: His kingdom is suffering from a lack of wealth.
* {{Jerkass}}: A big-time case of it.
-->'''Cora:''' I don't love your son.\\
'''King Xavier:''' I didn't expect you to. Not much there to love, frankly.

* PrinceCharming: He establishes himself as a very polite and courteous royal in the few scenes he has with Ariel.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Eric seems fairly active, he was on a ship the first time he met Ariel and plans to travel the world.

[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Jackouat_2513.jpg]]
->'''Played By:''' Cassidy Freeman

A skilled fighter who, along with James, defeated the giants in order to take their magic beans.
----

* GenderFlip[=/=]TomboyishName:
* {{Pride}}: "You are a true wonder." "I know."

!!The Seer
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Seer_8566.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:'''Seer:''' ''"The future is a puzzle, with many pieces to be solved."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Brighid Fleming & Shannon Lucio

A mystical figure who can predict the future.
----

* BlessedWithSuck: She hates her ability.
* BlindSeer: A very disturbing example.
* CreepyChild: When we first see her.
* EyesDoNotBelongThere: On her freakin' hands.
* ICannotSelfTerminate: Baits Rumple so he would be angry enough to kill her.
* MsExposition: Her role in the plot.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Subverted, she ''knew'' what would happen after her meetings with Rumple, but she just didn't care.
\\
\\

!!RobinHood
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robin_hood_4179.png]]
->'''Played By:''' Tom Ellis, Sean Maguire

A thief who tries to steal a magic wand from Rumplestiltskin in order to heal his true love, Marian. Was able to survive the Dark Curse.
----

* AdvertisedExtra: The trailers for his first appearance made a big deal about him, but he was only there for a side plot that was more about Rumplestiltskin and Belle. This was then inverted for season 3, where he was barely mentioned in the trailers despite the creators teasing [[spoiler: him having a relationship with Regina.]]
* TheArcher
* SecondLove: [[spoiler:With Marian being dead by Season 3, it is revealed his second chance at love and happiness is Regina.]]
\\
\\

!!Liam Jones
->'''Played By:''' Bernard Curry

A sea captain and the older brother of Captain Hook. He travels to Neverland in search of a plant that supposedly cures any injury.
----

* BigBrotherMentor: To Killian (Hook).
* TemptingFate / TooDumbToLive: The reason he dies is because he ''deliberately'' deeply cuts his bare arm with something said to be poison just to prove it isn't poison. It is, in fact, poison.

!!Berkley and Rivers
->'''Played By:''' Aleks Paunovic and Michael Teigen

Two of the Evil Queen's knights, who almost execute their employer while she is [[KingIncognito in disguise]].
----

* TheAlcoholic: Regina hired Berkley in spite of his drinking.
* MauveShirt: In an army of FacelessGoons, these two get names, faces, lines, personalities, and tiny glimpses into their pasts.
* RightBehindMe: A variant. One of the knights calls Regina ugly while right in front of the disguised Regina.

!!Ursula
->'''Played By:''' Yvette Nicole Brown

The goddess of the sea, who most believe to just be a myth.
----

* AdaptationalBadass: From a sea witch to a ''goddess'', who can even cow one of the greatest magic users in the world.
* AdaptationalHeroism: Her villainous role was actually Regina impersonating her. Her real personality is unclear, but she's very upset about that.
* BerserkButton: She does ''not'' take it well, when people impersonate her. She will get ''pissed''
* CombatTentacles: As per Disney tradition.
* RealAfterAll: She's not just a myth to Regina's surprise.

!!Little John

Robin Hood's right hand man in the Merry Men.
----

* BalefulPolymorph: He's the way the heroes find out being bitten by a flying monkey turns you into one.
* TheBigGuy: This time it's him rather than Friar Tuck who's overweight.

* TranslatorBuddy: To the Queen of Hearts.

->'''Played By:''' Chad Michael Collins

The brother of Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who is killed and then brought back to life.
----

* BackFromTheDead: Using a heart Victor received from the Enchanted Forest.
* CameBackWrong: He's the Frankenstein monster in this version.
* [[spoiler:SelfMadeOrphan]]: [[spoiler:After Victor brought him back to life, he killed their father because he went after Victor for failing to to bring Gerhardt back properly]].

->'''Played By:''' Gregory Itzin

The father of Gerhardt and Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
----

* AbusiveParents: To his older son Victor, but not to his pride and joy Gerhardt.
* FantasyForbiddingFather: He didn't approve of Victor's aspirations to bring the dead back to life and even went as far as to purchase an army commission to stop Victor from conducting further experiments.
* IHaveNoSon: His attitude toward Victor.
* TheMourningAfter: In "In the Name of the Brother", Victor reveals that his father was never the same after his mother died.
* [[spoiler:NoHoldsBarredBeatdown]]: [[spoiler:At the hands of his favourite son]].

** Of course, the timing in which he comes to his senses - right after Emma makes a deal with Mr Gold so that he cancels the deal he has with Ashley - is quite clear in that he came to his senses because the deal that had made Thomas disappear had become void.

----

* TheBully: Forces Rumple to kiss his boot for no good reason.

[[caption-width-right:350:'''Zoso:''' ''"All magic comes with a price... and now, it's yours to pay."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Brad Dourif

The former Dark One, who tricks Rumplestiltskin into obtaining his powers.
----

* TheDragon: To whoever is holding his knife. In this case, it's the unseen 'Duke' who Zoso clearly doesn't think much of.
* TheDreaded: He's the Dark One, so everyone fears him.
* ICannotSelfTerminate: What he personally believes, anyway.
* IKnowYourTrueName: Knowing this allows a person to control him and a magic dagger.
* ManipulativeBastard: To Rumple.
* MeaningfulName: His name may be related to the entity "zozo", which is said to be a malevolent spirit - sometimes called "the spirit of destruction".
* SdrawkcabName: The phonetic reversal of the name is the Greek word [[MeaningfulName Sozo which means to save]][[note]]or to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction one (from injury or peril)[[/note]]. By reversing it, it reverses the meaning making the name "Zoso" mean to injure or put in harms way.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: He was in one episode of season 1, but by his actions, Rumple inherited his powers, setting into motion a series of events that would lead to Bael's running away and Rumple's quest to find him.
* ThanatosGambit: [[spoiler:Plans his own retirement and death by telling Rumplestiltskin on how he can take over the Dark One's powers and then goads Rumple into killing him]].

[[caption-width-right:350:'''Sir Gaston:''' ''"I am Sir Gaston, and you, beast, have taken--"'']]
->'''Played By:''' Sage Brocklebank

The former betrothed of Belle back in the Enchanted Forest.
----

* AdaptationalHeroism: Unlike his Disney counterpart, he seems to be a nice guy who really wants to save Belle from Rumplestilskin.
* BalefulPolymorph: Rumplestiltskin turns him into a rose. An unknowing Belle... [[UnusualEuphemism snips his stem]].
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Barely has any screentime before getting bumped off.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: It's not made clear if he's alive or dead after being turned into a rose, snipped, and put in a vase.

!!Honora
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/HonoraOuat_8161.jpg]]
->'''Played By:''' Christina Gooding

A mute maid who serves Rumplestiltskin and Baelfire.
----

* BlackComedy: Her death is played out as this.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: Rumple kills her because he suspects she might have heard them mention his dagger. He justifies it with "Even a mute can draw a picture!"
* KilledOffForReal: For possibly learning about Rumple's dagger.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: She is barely in half the episode she is introduced in and had no background given.

->'''Played By:''' Jesse Hutch

Red Riding Hood's love interest back in the Enchanted Forest.
----

* EatenAlive: Poor, poor Peter.
* MeaningfulName: His name is likely a reference to "PeterAndTheWolf."
* RedHerring: Was thought to be the wolf in "Red-Handed", [[spoiler:but it was revealed to be Red]].
* TooDumbToLive: While admittedly being informed you may be a werewolf is traumatic, you think he might have had the sense to have locked himself up alone somewhere safe and not in the middle of the forest on the off chance that hey, his girlfriend might be wrong and he'd end up sitting there tied to a tree with a werewolf attacking him

----

* [[spoiler:DeadAllAlong]]: [[spoiler:He's actually Cora in disguise, after she killed the real Lancelot]].
* TheDreaded: Snow and Charming's forces only know of him as "The Leviathan" until his defection from George's forces.
* FallenHero: Disgraced ex-Knight of the Round Table (presumably due to his affair with Guinevere) turned sword for hire.
* HeelFaceTurn: Introduced as part of King George's army, but essentially quits as soon as he discovers [[spoiler:George's curse on Snow]].
* [[spoiler:KilledOffForReal]]: [[spoiler:Though we don't know how, only that Cora killed him and has been impersonating him in the refugee camp ever since]].

!!Jacqueline/"Jack"
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Jackouat_2513.jpg]]
->'''Played By:''' Cassidy Freeman

A skilled fighter who, along with James, defeated the giants in order to take their magic beans.
----

* GenderFlip[=/=]TomboyishName:
* {{Pride}}: "You are a true wonder." "I know."

!!The Seer

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Subverted, she ''knew'' what would happen after her meetings with Rumple, but she just didn't care.

Wendy's younger brothers,
who tries to steal a magic wand from Rumplestiltskin in order to heal his true love, Marian. Was able to survive the Dark Curse.

also become close friends with Baelfire.

* AdvertisedExtra: The trailers for his first appearance made a big deal about him, but he was only there for a side plot that was more about Rumplestiltskin and Belle. This was then inverted for season 3, where he was barely mentioned in the trailers despite the creators teasing AdorablyPrecociousChild: Micheal.
*
[[spoiler: him having a relationship with Regina.AntiVillain: Type IV, as they've been ForcedIntoEvil by Pan.]]
* TheArcher
BrainyBrunette: John.
* SecondLove: [[spoiler:With Marian being dead by Season 3, it is revealed his second chance at love and happiness is Regina.

* RightBehindMe: A variant. One of the knights calls Regina ugly while right in front of the disguised Regina.

!!Ursula
->'''Played By:''' Yvette Nicole Brown
