* DashAttack: A three-hitting version with his Shippuuga (Hurricane Fang), one of his command normals. Effectively nerfed in this game with less range but more combo-ability into other moves. The assist version oddly enough, only has Zero perform it with one hit instead.

* SpinAttack: Kuuenzan (Air Circling Slash), his aerial Heavy (which also has a reversed variant as a command special, likely as a reference to Zero being able to turn during his rolling slash in the ''X'' series), a staple ability of his in some way or another throughout ''MMX'' and ''MMZ''. Oddly enough, [[DoubleJump Kuuenbu (Air Waltz)]], the ability from which the Kuuenzan is derived (which would be internalized into Zero's movement techniques by ''X6''), is not present here, despite it being an almost universal feature in ''Tatsunoko vs. Capcom'' (which is perhaps meant to be an effective {{nerf}} to his overall mobility).

* RogueProtagonistPantyShot: Averted with her alternate costume. If you attempt to use the Model Viewer to look under her skirt, all that will greet you is solid black space that ends at her thighs.
* RogueProtagonist: from a good guy in the second game, to a bad guy (mind-controlled, but still) in this game. This reflects the change in her own game.
