* WantsAPrizeForBasicDecency: Before CharacterDevelopment, Kurono was very much like this, shelthering and taking care of Kishimoto with hopes of potential sexual favors in return.

* DaywalkingVampire: It's not the sunlight that is lethal to them, so they have some appearences during daytime.

* VillainDecay: They stop being a treat after the Nurarihyon Mission and are almost completely forgetten during the Katastrophe arc. Justified considering that both Izumi and Kurono killed a lot of them and Host Samurai and Kill Bill are probably the last of their kind.

* AmbiguoslyHuman: Their origin is not explained, except for the fact that it was something to do with nano-machines. The fact that they see the Gantz's hunter as enemies indicates that these machines may have alien origin.

* TheAnticipator: Downplayed. They have technology which allow them to see the Gantz's hunters even when they are invisible, it doesn't change the fact they are caught by surprise a few times.
* LeftHanging: Not much about them is explained, even through they are the antagonists of an arc.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: They gain vampirism through an infection with nano-machines which creates a strange sing in their backs, sunlight doesn't affect them but artificial light does and there's no mention of they needing to drink blood to survive, although some vampires are shown found of [[IAmAHumanitarian cannibalism]].
* SharpDressedMan: All of them wear suits.
* TreasureChestCavity: They can store pistols and even ''katanas'' in a hole in the palm of their hands.
* VillainDecay: They stop being a treat after the Nurarihyon Mission and are almost completely forgetten during the Katastrophe arc. Justified considering that both Izumi and Kurono killed a lot of them and Host Samurai and Kill Bill are probably the last of their kind.

* HumanoidAliens: Pretty human-like, although with some differences.Despite their gigantic avarege size, the two extra small eyes (one in each of their head's temples) and somewhat bizarre genitals, they look very much like humans. Also, besides their apparences, their society (at least the one inside the spaceship) is almost exactly like the modern human societies in urban areas. But, ironically, most of them just see the humans as exotic animals and nothing more.
