Etna's older brother, and the [[BigBad primary antagonist]] of Disgaea Dimension 2. A powerful, noble demon, Xenolith originally spent much of his time fending off demons who wished to prove themselves to King Krichevskoy, until Etna's inherently overwhelming magical strength threatened to kill her. To stop this, Xenolith activated and merged with the Artifact of Absolute Death, a device that drains magical energy. While this successfully kept Etna's power in check, it also threatened to destroy the Netherworld, as it was draining the energy of the world as well. Stuck between saving either Etna or the Netherworld, Xenolith tried to save both by kidnapping and using the Celestian angels to fuel the Netherworld.

A powerful, noble demon, Xenolith originally spent much of his time fending off who was attacked by demons who wished in her infancy for being suspected of plotting to prove themselves to overthrow King Krichevskoy, until Etna's inherently overwhelming magical strength threatened to kill her. To stop this, Xenolith activated and merged with in the Artifact chaos he lost track of Absolute Death, a device that drains magical energy. While this successfully kept Etna's power in check, it also threatened to destroy the Netherworld, as it Etna, who was draining the energy of the world taken in by Krichevskoy as well. Stuck between saving either Etna or the Netherworld, Xenolith tried to save both by kidnapping and using the Celestian angels to fuel the Netherworld.

Celestia's newest Archangel. Unlike the former Archangel Vulcanus, Virunga is soft-spoken, very loyal to Lamington, and cares a great deal about his fellow angels.
