* BadassNormal: He's just a normal human being with a knowledge of the occult, but he managed to literally [[spoiler:steal Kissshot's heart without her noticing]] and can perform stunts like judo throwing crab gods. Is also worth mentioning that in Kizumonogatari, he [[spoiler: managed to stop the attacks of the three vampire hunters '''at the same time, with [[UpToEleven his bare hands]]'''. And those three vampire hunters were able to defeat Kiss-Shot while teaming up, mind you.]]

* {{Badass}}: With a little assistance from Shinobu, he can regain some of the vampire powers he had in ''Kizumonogatari'', where he stomped a bunch of professional vampire hunters. Notably, his regeneration at that time was almost limitless and he had immense strength far beyond even what a normal vampire could do. The series being what it is, however, things are rarely settled by him simply beating someone up.

Added DiffLines:

* DoesNotLikeShoes: When under the influence of the Meddlesome Cat, she doesn't bother to put on shoes. She ''does'' have the opportunity, but doesn't...because she's a cat. At least she wipes her soles before going indoors.

* BadassBeard: [[spoiler: Sports one when he is shown alive and well in Hanamonogatari.]]

** DarkIsNotEvil: In Koimonogatari, when his thoughts are explored, is revealed that some of his most cruel actions [spoiler: (like making Sejougahara's parents divorce)]] were actually his way of helping people, showing that he is not that amoral after all. Also, he helped Senjougahara for pure altruism, using the excuse that she can pay him later as a way to make her believe he is in his con man persona.

Added DiffLines:

* NotQuiteDead: [[spoiler: Even though Koimonogatari's ending implies the kid he tricked in the past killed him, he appears in Hanamonogatari (who is chronologically the last entry of the franchise) alive and recovered. Probably he just fainted when the kid knocked him.]]

* PutOnABus: In Tsubasa Cat, he leaves the town and parts to an unknown place after he feels he stayed too much in it. Even though he hasn't reappeared for the moment, his presence is still present throughout the series.

* ArcVillain: Of the second volume of Owarimonogatari.

* PointyEars

* BigBad: The closest thing that the series has for one in the first season, as he is the cause of the problems of Senjougahara, Nadeko, Karen and Tsukihi (in an indirect way in the cases of Nadeko and Tsukihi) and takes an antagonistic (although passive) role in Karen Bee.

* DidYouJustScamCthulhu: Which he is about to in Hitagi End.

to:

* DarkIsEvil: Played straight in his first appearences. He wears black clothes, has a devilesque design, is amoral and only cares in obtaining money without taking in consideration how his actions could affect others. However...

Guillotinecutter was the third of the three vampire hunters faced during Kizumonogatari. Unlike the other two, he is completely human. He is the archbishop of a new religion he created which purports that he is god.

Added DiffLines:

* BadassNormal: Unlike Episode and Dramaturgie, he doesn't possess any weapon or special ability. Doesn't stops him from taking Kiss-Shot's arms.
* BadassPreacher: Is the priest of a new religion and capable of kicking ass.
* KilledOffForReal: [[Kiss-Shot kills him in Kizumonogatari, making him one of the few characters who stays dead in the series.]]
* PointyEars: Strangely, despite being the only human in the vampire hunters team, he has pointy ears, a trait present in vampires and oddities like Ononoki.
