I'll never understand why the main characters sometimes get their own pages. You could argue length, but nearly all of the singular character pages I've seen have had alphabetized trope folders barely filled with anything just to create the illusion of the page having more tropes than it actually does. Ash's page doesn't do that, but it's no longer than an average character entry and not really deserving of its own section.

!Main Characters

[[folder:Ash]]
''See Characters/EvilDead''
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pablo]]
!!Pablo Simon Bolivar
[[quoteright:300:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bolivar_pablo_simon16.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:300:''"I wish I had my rusty chain, yo!"'']]
->'''Played By:''' Ray Santiago

An idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash's loyal sidekick. Pablo believes in Ash's heroism, even if Ash himself doesn’t.
----
* {{Adorkable}}: Due to being so socially inept, nervous and frighted...yet also brave and good-hearted.
* {{Badbutt}}: Although he can be a genuine badass when pushed, most of his offhand attempts to impress Kelly by being "cool" come off as less than remarkable.
* CowardlyLion: Meek, shy, and often terrified in the face of evil (and rightly so), but he never runs away from the fight. [[spoiler:Most evident in "The Host" when he tries to force Eligos to possess him to save Kelly, despite claiming he's a pushover and won't struggle.]]
* GadgeteerGenius: In "Brujo," he starts building Ash a replacement mechanical hand.
* TheIllegal: He absent-mindedly mentions he's "seen a lot between Honduras and here" in "El Jefe". After Ash mentions he once claimed to be from New Jersey, he immediately backpedals.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: UsefulNotes/SimonBolivar was an important figure in the history of South America.
* OrificeEvacuation: During the Season 1 finale, [[spoiler: Ruby forced a Necronomicon-possessed Pablo to spawn an unspecified number of demon children, through his mouth]].
* SociallyAwkwardHero: Much of his charm comes from how genial he stays while getting flustered or panicky.
* TraumaCongaLine: He gets put through absolute hell in "The Dark One." [[spoiler: First, he's possessed by the Necronomicon's face. Then, he's taken down to the cabin's cellar by Ruby, chained up, and cut so Ruby can use his blood to write new pages in the book, while Ruby forces him to spawn an unspecified number of demon children through OrificeEvacuation. Finally, he's {{Mind Rape}}d into attacking Ash and Kelly]]. By the time Ash shows up, the poor kid literally ''begs'' him for a MercyKill.
* WeaponOfChoice: He discusses this with Kelly in "Fire in the Hole" after she mentions she'd like a [[FirebreathingWeapon flamethrower]]. He says a gun "[[LittleUselessGun felt kinda small]]" and suggests he'd be better suited to an [[AnAxeToGrind axe]], a crossbow, a [[ShockAndAwe TASER]] or a [[ChainPain rusty chain]]. After crushing a Deadite between a tree and a truck bumper, he muses that maybe he's "[[CarFu a pick-up truck kinda guy]]." At the end of the episode, after [[RecklessGunUsage mucking around]] with a rocket launcher he settles on a [[RevolversAreJustBetter big-ass revolver]].

[[folder:Kelly]]
!!Kelly Maxwell
[[quoteright:300:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/maxwell_kelly.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:300:''"Touch me again, and you're gonna need another wooden hand."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Dana Delorenzo

A moody wild child trying to outrun her past. Reluctantly dragged into the fight against evil with Ash and Pablo, Kelly finds a different kind of family with her fellow slayers.
----
* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Kelly is rather emotionally distant and snarky.
* AmbiguouslyJewish: She mentions in "Bait" that her family is Jewish... [[spoiler: which makes the cross-shaped grave markers Ash made while [[DueToTheDead giving her parents a proper burial]] awkward]].
* AngstWhatAngst: [[spoiler:While not the most open person to begin with, she seems to take the brutal death of her father at the hands of her Deadite-turned deceased mother who than is cut apart by Ash fairly well things considering.]]
* BloodKnight: From "The Killer of Killers" onwards, it's shown she ''really'' likes fighting Deadites.
* DeadpanSnarker: Very deadpan indeed, frequently engaging in SnarkToSnarkCombat with Ash.
* DemonicPossession: [[spoiler:"Brujo" reveals that she's been possessed by Eligos]].
* MissingMom: Her mother died in a car accident six months prior to the start of the series.
* MyParentsAreDead: In the first episode, Ash flirts with her and tells her to tell her mother that she "passed her genes down to her in all the right places..." only for Kelly to reveal that her mother died in a car accident six months ago. [[spoiler: She dies again later that day.]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: [[spoiler:In "Books From Beyond," she releases Amanda in exchange for her help... only for Amanda to try to arrest Ash, which leads to Eligos escaping the binding circle, killing Lionel, and nearly killing Ash and Pablo. Ash [[WhatTheHellHero makes sure she knows it's her fault]].]]
* TraumaCongaLine: Kelly sure goes through it; [[spoiler:her mother dies six months before the series begins, then she's attacked by Deadites, her mother seemingly returns to life only to reveal herself as a Deadite and die ''again'', her father dying in the process, and to top it off she gets painfully possessed by Eligos!]]
* WeaponOfChoice: Early on in "Fire in the Hole" she mentions she'd like a [[FireBreathingWeapon flamethrower]]. By the end of the episode, she's decided she prefers the M4 carbine she procured from a Militia member.
-->"Fuck a flamethrower, this guy's got ''girth!''"
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Amanda]]
!!Amanda Fisher
[[quoteright:300:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fisher_amanda2.jpg]]
->'''Played By:''' Jill Marie Jones

A disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.
----
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Amanda Was A Deadite.]]: [[spoiler: After she's killed by Ash's EvilTwin, she then falls victim to the same DemonicPossession gag as many before her.]]
* BlackDudeDiesFirst: [[spoiler: Well she is certainly not the first character to be killed in this series, however she is the first main character to be killed off, so she counts]].
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: [[spoiler: In "Ashes to Ashes," she's killed by first getting a meat cleaver chopped into her neck, and then falling and getting impaled on the deer head's antlers]].
* FairCop: She's certainly easy on the eyes. Ash even takes the time during an altercation with her to [[MaleGaze oogle her cleavage]].
* HandCannon: Inverted. Carries a small Derringer in an ankle holster as a backup piece, but it's shown to be powerful enough to blow a person's head clean off, and hold more rounds than the gun normally would.
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler: After seeing Ash in action in "Killer of Killers", she finally realizes that Ash isn't the bad guy she thought he was.]]
* ImpaledPalm: She gets stabbed clean through the hand with a pair of scissors in the first episode.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler:Happens to her after being attacked by Evil Ash, on the antlers of the deer head that fell from over the fireplace]]
* InspectorJavert: Thinks Ash is deliberately causing the newfound murders of the county. While he is somewhat responsible, it was an accident on his part and he's trying to stop it. [[spoiler:Even after directly encountering a demon alongside Ash, she's still trying to arrest him first and foremost.]] As of "The Killer of Killers," [[spoiler: after fighting off Deadites in a diner alongside Ash, she seems to have realized that Ash is a good guy and is working with him]].
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Played straight and somewhat subverted, Amanda herself is killed but her corpse still lives and walking around courtesy of being killed by a deadite (Evil Ash)]]
* LethallyStupid: If it wasn't for her rushing to arrest Ash in a situation she knew full well she had no clue about, Eligos wouldn't have escape. [[spoiler: Her decision to ignore Ash's repeated warnings about how dangerous the things at the cabin get her killed when she follows him up there.]]
* LoveInterest: The latter half of Season 1 develops her relationship with Ash to this point. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, she quickly goes the way of Ash's last real lady friend, Linda, because Ash just isn't allowed a happy relationship...]]
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: If it wasn't for her trying to arrest Ash at the bookstore [[spoiler: the binding circle would have remained intact and the demon wouldn't been released and kill Lionel.]]
* SacrificialLion: [[spoiler:Amanda is the first major character to die.]]
* ShearMenace: A Deadite stabs her through the hand with scissors. She's later seen with her hand bandaged heavily up.
* StuffedIntoTheFridge: [[spoiler: Evil Ash kills her in "Ashes To Ashes" in order to antagonize Ash. Possibly Lampshaded in that he slams her head in a fridge door repeatedly during their fight.]]
** Also subverted. [[spoiler: Amanda's clearly the most competent member of Ash's team, and potentially a bigger threat than Ash. Ash, at the least, doesn't have the potential to call down the state police into the situation.]]
* WrongGenreSavvy: Despite all that has happened, Amanda seems to think of herself in a cop drama chasing down a serial killer. [[spoiler:She eventually joins his team.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ruby]]
!!Ruby Knowby
[[quoteright:300:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/knowby_ruby.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:300:''"Sometimes what you think you saw, it's exactly what you saw."'']]
->'''Played By:''' Creator/LucyLawless

A mysterious figure who is myopic in her quest to hunt down the source of the recent evil outbreaks. She is the daughter of Professor Raymond and Henrietta Knowby and sister of Annie Knowby from ''Film/EvilDead2''. Ruby blames Ash for the deaths of her family members and has been trying to track him down for years for revenge.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: [[spoiler: One of the Deadites claim that she went against an agreement before they are suddenly both killed in a pyre. The fact she later rises out of it unharmed seriously adds to the ambiguous. It is also revealed she's the one who wrote the Necronomicon.]]
* AmbiguouslyGay: Ruby seems to hit on Amanda while trying to calm her. [[spoiler: Deadite Amanda implies this too by saying they could have been together.]]
* BlackEyesOfEvil: [[spoiler: Sports these in "The Dark One" as another sign that she isn't truly human.]]
* BeenThereShapedHistory: As revealed in "Bound in Flesh," [[spoiler: she wrote the Necronomicon]].
* BigBad: [[spoiler: She serves as the hidden main antagonist of Season 1, and possible the entire series as a whole]].
* CoolCar: She has one.
* DealWithTheDevil: In the Season 1 finale, [[spoiler: she makes a truce with Ash, sparing his friends and giving him a chance for a normal life as long as he doesn't interfere with her plans to unite the world's evil under her rule]]. Much to the dismay of [[spoiler: Pablo and Kelly, Ash accepts]].
* DesignatedLoveInterest: Many fans called it this way but it was actually {{Averted}}, much to Lucy Lawless's obvious pleasure: she made it clear early on that Ruby and Ash were never, ever, ever getting together. [[spoiler:The reasons, if they are needed, being as it turns out that (1) Ash's love interest for the season was actually Amanda, who (2) got killed off and turned into a deadite anyway, no thanks to Ruby because as it turned out, (3) she was EvilAllAlong. Not to mention Ruby being AmbiguouslyGay and her cover identity being the last remaining relative of the Knowby family, whom she considers "victims" of Ash's attempts at battling evil.]]
* {{Determinator}}: She's been trying to hunt down Ash for the past ''30 years.''
* DistaffCounterpart: For Ash, as a female OneLiner-spewing, Deadite-killing badass looking to get revenge on the forces of the Evil Dead. [[spoiler: Or so she claimed, but it turns out she's a Dark One]]. After the reveal, she can be considered [[spoiler: Ash's EvilCounterpart]].
* DramaticIrony: She fully believes that Ash killed her family just to steal the Necromicon, when in fact he killed in self defense and took the Necromicon so the events wouldn't happen again.
* EvilAllAlong: The Season 1 finale [[spoiler: reveals that her story about being Knowby's daughter was all a lie, and she is in fact a Dark One who intends to unite all the world's evil under her rule]].
* EvilIsNotAToy: As revealed in the Season 2 premiere, [[spoiler: the demonic children she forced the possessed Pablo to spawn have turned against her and want the Necronomicon for themselves, forcing Ruby to form an EnemyMine with Ash to help clean up her mess.]]
* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler: She's a Dark One, creator of the TomeOfEldritchLore that has caused so much death and destruction throughout Ash's life, which makes her this during the previous movies.]]
* HorrifyingTheHorror: In "Books from Beyond," she subjects a Deadite to a JackBauerInterrogationTechnique. It gets so bad that the Deadite freaks out and ''begs her to stop.''
* HumanoidAbomination: [[spoiler:She's a Dark One, considering that she wrote the book (which mind you, has been around for centuries if not ''millennia'') in the first place]].
* HealingFactor: [[spoiler: Recovers from having several large holes blown into her chest fairly quickly.]]
* JerkassHasAPoint: [[spoiler:Turns out Ash is in fact responsible for the Deadite outbreak due to reading the Necromonicon and pretending it's poetry while high to impress a girl.]]
* MadeOfIron: In "Fire in the Hole," [[spoiler: she survived being ''burned alive'' with nothing more than ClothingDamage]].
* PsychicPowers: She seems to have some psychic abilities, able to sense Deadites.
* RememberTheNewGuy: Though unmentioned in the films, it's been revealed that [[spoiler: she's the daughter of Professor Raymond Knowby and blames Ash for his death and that of her sister's. The events of Episode 9 indicate this is a lie, however, and she is using this story for cover]].
* TortureTechnician: She tortures a Deadite! That's like punching out Muhammad Ali!
* YouKilledMyFather: In "Brujo," it's revealed that [[spoiler:the reason she's after Ash is because she believes that he killed her family and stole the Necronomicon...only for it to be revealed she's been lying about this.]].
* VisionaryVillain: [[spoiler:She claims to want the ''Necronomicon'' so she can rule over the forces of darkness and impose order on them so that they don't destroy humanity]].

[[folder:Linda B.]]
!!Linda B. Emery
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fred_alan.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Played By:''' Michelle Hurd

Linda B. was Ash's high school sweetheart until he left her for a girl named [[NamesTheSame Linda]]. Sometime after Ash and his friends never returned from a weekend trip, Linda married the sheriff of Elk Grove, Thomas Emery. When he returns to his home town, he finds that she's now a waitress working at their mutual friend's Chet Kaminski's bar. Linda B., unlike the other people in their hometown, doesn't believe he's responsible for Cheryl's death and think's he's innocent. She also, deep down, may still harbor feelings for Ash.

!!Chet Kaminski
[[quoteright:350:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/06_chet_0.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Played By:''' Creator/TedRaimi

Ash's best friend from high school who never left the party. He's always willing to help Ash in a bind, especially if the solution means partying at the bar he owns, going to a strip club, throwing a rager or breaking and entering. Unlike most people in Elks Grove, he believes Ash is innocent in the murder of Cheryl and their friends.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lacey]]
!!Lacey Emery

->'''Played By:''' Pepi Sonuga

Daughter of Linda B. Emery and Sheriff Thomas Emery. She’s a rebellious 20-something that finds herself in the wrong Delta 88 at the wrong time. Thankfully she finds solace and safety with Ash, Pablo and Kelly until her own father makes her a pawn in his game to take down Ash.
----
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Brock]]
!!Brock Williams

->'''Played By:''' Lee Majors

Ash’s surly father. He was once the owner of Elk Grove’s thriving hardware store, but ever since his son was labeled a serial killer his business has tanked. Now he spends his days in his easy chair watching television or enjoying a beer or ten at the Elk Lounge Bar. He is none too pleased to see his son is back in town and makes sure Ash knows it. But deep down he might just still love him a little bit.
----
* DirtyOldMan: The minute he sees Kelly, he hits on her:
-->'''Brock''': Brock Williams. You can call me "Cock."
* IHaveNoSon: He essentially turned his back on Ash after the incident at the cabin, which led to Ash being labeled a SerialKiller and ostracized by everyone in Elk Grove. In Ash's words, they were "dead to each other."
* ItRunsInTheFamily: Like his son, he's quite a flirt.
[[/folder]]

!Other Humans

[[folder:Brujo]]
!! Brujo
->'''Played by:''' Hemky Madera

Pablo's ''tio'', and a shaman who knows a lot about the dark arts.
----
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: While he can barely stand Ash, he can't resist chuckling to Ash's quip that people who [[UnderestimatingBadassery underestimate him]] "end up either in [his] bed or dead."
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Brujo Was a Skeleton]]: [[spoiler:Played with. Though Brujo's spirit is confirmed to be safe in the afterlife, [[NoOntologicalInertia the totemic barrier against evil he constructed around his home begins to break down and catch on fire along with his physical body]], allowing the Kandarian demon to possess his corpse as a flaming, skeletal Deadite by the time Ruby and Amanda arrive.]]
* CollectorOfTheStrange: Because of his calling, he's amassed a huge collection of supernatural and shamanistic ephemera, from the evil-repelling totems in his yard to some highly questionable stuff inside his barn.
-->"And that's why we never fool with demons. Your Uncle Esteban fooled with demons, and look what happened to him." ''(Points to a blackened, preserved head dangling from the rafters)''
* DueToTheDead: [[spoiler: After being killed by Eligos, Ash, Pablo, and Kelly make him a funeral pyre.]]
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep / NoNameGiven: Not even Pablo calls him by his true name, if he still has one.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler:He is swatted away and impaled by Eligos during the final struggle to exorcise Kelly.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He doesn't like Ash and doesn't mind showing it, but nonetheless tries to help him.
* MentorOccupationalHazard: [[spoiler:Not long after reconciling with his nephew and past pupil Pablo, he dies, thus passing the torch to his nephew.]]
* SomeKindOfForceField: His house is protected by a barrier that prevents any evil from entering. [[spoiler:Eligos seems to have been able to bypass this by possessing Kelly.]]
* SpiritAdvisor: [[spoiler:After he passes to the realm beyond, his spirit remains to guide Pablo through the Santa Muerte medallion he bequeaths to him]].
* [[WellDoneSonGuy "Well Done, Nephew!" Guy]]: Raised Pablo in the traditions and ways of ''brujeria'', a part of his cultural heritage that he holds dear, and feels betrayed that his nephew chose to cast it aside to, of all things, work a crappy retail job at the local Value Stop. [[spoiler:They manage to reconcile before his death, with Brujo asking forgiveness and admitting that Pablo does indeed have a powerful gift if he was able to seek out and recognize El Jefe in a light so dim as Ash's.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Roper]]
!!Mr. Roper
->'''Played By:''' Damien Garvey

Ash and Pablo's {{Jerkass}} boss at Value Stop.
----
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Mr. Roper Was A Deadite]]: [[spoiler:Self-explanatory.]]
* BadBoss: Insulting, cruel, and sadistic to his employees, particularly after his transformation. Roper's shabby treatment of Ash in particular is only [[MeanBoss partially justified]] by the fact that, as a senior employee, Ash is basically unfireable, and a lazy goldbrick to boot.
* DangerTakesABackSeat: [[spoiler:As a Deadite, he hides out in the backseat of Ash's Oldsmobile.]]
* DyingAsYourself: [[spoiler:He apparently retains enough of his old self to really enjoy attempting to murder Ash, gleefully saying how he's always hated him and thinks he's a "sad old failure".]]
* JerkassHasAPoint: His {{Jerkass}} attitude towards Ash is somewhat justified, since Ash is a lazy, irresponsible goof who's taken multiple days off of work under the pretense of taking care of his "dear friend" Eli, a ruse that Roper apparently found out about:
-->'''Roper:''' Are you really going to use your fucking lizard as an excuse to get out of work again?\\
'''Ash''' ''(Beat)'' ...I am.
* OffWithHisHead: [[spoiler:After getting one last word in ("Thanks for the heads-up"), Ash shoves Deadite!Roper's head out the Oldsmobile's window to get annihilated by a speeding car in the other lane. Pablo even comments afterwards on what a great one-liner it was.]]
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Considers himself qualified to call Ash a "retard" because "my gardener is a huge one".
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Suzy]]
!!Suzy Maxwell
->'''Played By:''' Creator/MimiRogers

Kelly’s mother, who was turned into a Deadite to lure Ash.
----
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Suzy Was A Deadite]]: The show doesn’t try very hard to preserve the ambiguity of whether or not she’s a Deadite; in fact, most of the suspense rests on [[DevilInPlainSight how everyone else is almost definitely trapped inside the house with one, and just when she'll choose to strike]].
* FakingAmnesia: She pretends that she wasn’t dead, just had amnesia for the past year. Ash doesn’t buy it for a minute.
* FliesEqualsEvil: One crawls across her face near the beginning, passing without comment but further creeping out an already suspicious Ash.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lionel]]
!!Lionel Hawkins
->'''Played By:''' Kelson Henderson

The owner of a rare books store and expert in the occult.
----
* AdmiringTheAbomination: He can barely contain his glee when Ash presents him with the Necronomicon.
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Lionel Was A Deadite]]: [[spoiler:Turns out, you don't need to be killed by a Deadite to turn into a Deadite, getting killed by any demon will do the trick.]]
* EvilIsNotAToy: He learns this the hard way when he summons the demon Eligos without having the banishing incantation ready in case the circle breaks.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler:By Ruby.]]
* MrExposition: He spouts exposition about the origins of the Necronomicon and it's purposes.
* NightmareFetishist: As is evidenced by his store, and he's very excited to summon a demon.
-->'''Pablo:''' Hey, will you tell him that we shouldn't be doing this?
-->'''Lionel:''' I've been waiting, my entire life to commune with the darkness.
-->'''Ash:''' See? He loves it.
* OffWithHisHead: [[spoiler:By Ruby, who then crushes it.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lem]]
!!Lem
->'''Played By:''' Peter Feeney

A casual reprobate acquaintance of Ash's.
----
* TheAlcoholic: He's quite proud of himself for going "off the sauce, almost nine days"; Ash isn't quite sure how to respond. Eventually, it's revealed that Ash quit drinking with him because Lem couldn't handle his liquor as well.
* [[AndThenJohnWasAZombie And Then Lem Was a Deadite]]: Despite fleeing the carnage at the diner, he was eventually hunted down and consumed by The Force in the woods near his compound. He's a particularly strong and clever Deadite, too, able to make short work of multiple armed survivalists before retreating to their underground bunker and hiding in the darkened tunnels.
* CrazySurvivalist: He recently joined a local militia, and makes mention of using Ash's former employee discount as a hook-up to hoard typical prepper supplies for them like ammo and toilet paper.
-->'''Lem:''' "[[Film/GlengarryGlenRoss Always Be Stockpiling]]", that's their motto.\\
'''Ash:''' That's a dumb motto.\\
'''Lem:''' I joined after they came up with it.
* PlayingWithFire: When cornering Ash and Amanda in the bunker, he guzzles diesel and kerosene straight from the jerrycan, cracks a flare, and belches jets of flame at them.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Heather]]
!!Heather
->'''Played By:''' Samara Weaving

An Australian camper who stumbles upon the cabin an becomes embroiled with Ash’s problems.
----
* ContrivedCoincidence: How she becomes involved in the events of the show, since she and her friends stumble upon a cabin in the middle of the woods that's been abandoned for decades on the very night that supernatural forces descend upon it.
* CruelAndUnusualDeath: In "The Dark One," [[spoiler: her demise at the hands of the possessed cabin [[LudicrousGibs isn't very pleasant.]] In this order, she's thrown about the room, the sofa lands on her wounded leg, numerous nails impale her, and she's dragged screaming into a room with a red glow. The next time we see her, she's in pieces.]]
* MauveShirt: She given is given a bit more focus than most other minor characters, and was seemly set up to be a major character in the Season 1 finale, and possible even the next season, only to be [[spoiler: unceremoniously killed off]].
* RomanticFalseLead: She and Pablo enjoy a mutual flirtation that serves no narrative purpose other than to jump-start Kelly's previously platonic feelings for Pablo.
* ScreamingWoman: From the moment she crosses paths with her first Deadite she cuts loose with the screaming at every opportunity.
* ThirdWheel: She’s in a camping trip in the middle of nowhere with a couple of recently engaged SickeninglySweethearts even though she doesn’t even like camping.
* TraumaCongaLine: Since the moment she crossed paths with her first Deadite, things only went from bad to worse.
* TwistedAnkle: Her leg gets broken in a very gruesome manner, severely limiting her mobility.
* WhoWearsShortShorts: She wears a tiny pair of shorts... [[spoiler:they're the only article of clothing that stays on her chopped up remains]].

[[folder:Thomas]]

->'''Played By:''' Stephen Lovatt

He’s married to Ash’s former flame, Linda B. [[caption-width-right:300:''"Can't blame a demon for trying!"'']]
->'''Played By:''' Ben Fransham

A demon summoned by Lionel at Ash's request to get information about how to stop the evil.
----
* AdaptationalWimp: In real world demonology Eligos is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_demons_in_the_Ars_Goetia#Duke_Eligos a Great Duke of Hell]] but Lionel refers to him as a weak lesser demon. He is still a hell of a lot stronger than anyone of them expected.
* AlienBlood: As shown in "Brujo," [[spoiler: his blood is blue]].
* ArcVillain: Served as the main antagonist of Episodes 3 through 5.
* BlackEyesOfEvil: The only outward sign that a person is being possessed by Eligos. He can turn it on and off at will, though.
* BoomHeadshot: [[spoiler:Ash puts a shotgun shell right in his face.]]
* DemonicPossession: He has this ability, but is a lot more subtle than the Deadites' version, being able to make the victim pass of as completely normal.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Has a very deep, raspy voice.
* EyelessFace: His appearance may remind some of [[Film/PansLabyrinth The Pale Man.]]
* ForTheEvulz: He pretended to be Kelly to trick Ash into performing a MercyKill on her. Ash nearly does it but catches onto the trick.
* HumanoidAbomination: A distorted, demonic monstrosity in the vague shape of an emaciated human being that, save for his mouth, flickers and vibrates like a bad VHS tape.
* KnightOfCerebus: Compared to the Deadites. There's nothing comedic about him, Ash is left almost completely helpless when he tries to confront him, and the way he tortures Ash and Pablo is ''not'' PlayedForLaughs.
* NormalFishInATinyPond: He's explicitly stated to be ''the'' weakest demon that the Necronomicon can summon, and he effortlessly kicks Ash's ass and nearly kills him. Which means that if the [[EldritchAbomination most powerful]] of the lot crossed over to our side of the fence, those trying to stop them would be absolutely powerless.
* OutOfCharacterAlert: While possessing Kelly, he pretends to be her in a moment of clarity, begging Ash to MercyKill her. Ash is about to do so, but then "Kelly" asks him to [[DueToTheDead make a cross for her grave]]. Knowing Kelly is Jewish, Ash quickly realizes the trick.
* PsychicPowers: He's referred to as a "demon of the mind," and in "Brujo," he [[spoiler: invades Ash's VisionQuest]].
* ShootTheMageFirst: Upon breaking free of the binding circle, the very first thing Eligos does is kill Lionel, the only one who can read the incantation needed to send him back.

[[spoiler:Ash finally exploits this ability in the showdown at Brujo's ranch; by anticipating that [[JumpScare he always appears right in front of his victims]], Ash tosses up his shotgun, swipes at him with his chainsaw, and spins on his heels to catch the gun just as the demon re-appears.
* TeleportSpam: Uses these to get the drop on anyone trying to attack him. [[ActionBomb The resulting blast splatters Eligos's physical form across the barn]].]]

A group of beings responsible for the creation of the ''Necronomicon''.
----
* BlackCloak: The only depiction of the Dark Ones ever seen shows them wearing dark hooded cloaks that completely conceal their appearance. [[spoiler: This is to conceal the fact that they indeed can pass for completely human.]]
* HumanoidAbomination: It is unclear exactly what they are, being described as “neither demon nor fully human”. [[spoiler: They at least ''look'' human but possess enhanced strength, HealingFactor and immunity to fire]]
* PredecessorVillain: They do not appear to be active in the present time, but as the creators of the ''Necronomicon'', they are responsible for all the terrible events of the franchise. [[spoiler: At least one is still active in present times, planning to use the book to unleashand the rule over the forces of darkness]].
