** Made somewhat more awesome, as you later learn that one can summon Dragons by speaking their true name via the Thu'um, as they are compelled to seek out the person who invoked it. The Greybeards just summoned the Dragonborn to High Hrothgar in the exact ''same'' way.

** This troper once had a guard follow him onto the ''Katriah''. Think about it, a guard swims after a man who just had an ally in ebony armor and a summoned Dremora murder the captain of the Penitus Oculatus.

** Better yet, choose to escape and ally with the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Captain who forced you to execution, even after a dragon attack, ''still wants some.'' KarmicDeath was never sweeter.

* Here's a major point of awesome demonstrated by a [[http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43529/? Miraak Follower Mod]]. Simply put, this mod lets you use Bend Will on Miraak to make him loyal to you as a follower. Hermaeus reappears (as the outcome of them both surviving displeases him) and he sics just about every spirit, daedra and warrior under his thrall at you. However, the Last Dragonborn and Miraak must hold them off until Hermaeus simply stops sending more, to which Miraak leaves (and returns to reality at his own Temple) and the Dragonborn is free to go back to Tamriel. Why is this so different from the normal ending, [[spoiler: where Hermaeus simply spears Miraak]]? Here's your answer: as noted above, a Dragonborn is equal to a Daedric Prince at half of their power. In the mod, it was Miraak and the Dragonborn against Hermaeus Mora. In short, Miraak and the Dovahkiin together are just as strong as a Daedric Prince! The Dovahkiin's combined ability to match a Daedric Prince is a huge crowning moment of awesome!
