* This troper would also like to nominate the scene that immediately follows those two, where Speed hits his jump jacks, uses Mach 5 to take out one car in mid-air, ricochets away to take out a ''second'' car, before bouncing back down to the ground to continue driving, all without missing a beat. Even the two commentators are utterly aghast, with one of them asking in disbelief, "Did he really just do that?!"

** Surprisingly? Not twelve hours prior, Pops beat the stuffing out of a ninja and then kicked the guy out of a window. During the fight in the mountains, Pops is the only character who doesn't end up using a firearm. ''Because he doesn't need one to flatten multiple attackers''.

* The entire second act of the movie. The whole movie is fantastic, but it's the Casa Cristo race that gives us what we all wanted: Speed driving in the Mach 5 with all of the classic gadgets. This is more in line with the anime, with Speed and Racer X tearing it up across various landscapes and enviornments, right down to Speed wearing his anime outfit. The whole thing is solidified when, at the end, Speed cements his victory by leaping from the Mach 5 and striking that famous pose

Even the two commentators are totally amazed, with one of them asking, "Did he really just do that?!"

* I'd argue the entire movie counts. For everybody in the movie, everybody not in the movie, and just filmmaking in general.
** Agreed. The Wachowskis had to have been incredibly devoted and loving fans to create the movie and render it in such excellent detail. From the candy-colored visuals, to the dizzying roller-coaster of the race scenes, to the way the casting, costumes, and make-up made such incredible live-action doubles of the animated cast. And the double-subversion with Racer X...They out Speed Racered Anime/SpeedRacer.

* Spritle and Chim-Chim aren't just PluckyComicRelief. First of all, during the aforementioned battle in the snow-covered mountains, it's them that save the family by Spritle shooting a man with a toy gun and Chim-Chim throwing poop at him. Then, during the actual fight, they keep one man from getting a ''real'' gun by Spritle [[{{WeaksauceWeakness}} clapping on the man's sore thumb,]] [[{{GroinAttack}} kicking him in the nuts,]] [[{{EyeScream}} poking him in the eyes,]] and then Chim-Chim [[{{CrowningMomentOfFunny}} knocking him out with a wrench.]]

* Fresh from the 2008 ''Film/{{Speed Racer}}'' movie, this troper would like to put forth that the entire Racer family had a crowning moment during the fight scene in the snow covered mountains. Suprisingly, Pops is a badass.
