* Barry Burton shows up to rescue Jill in the alternate ending, providing her and Carlos with a lift out of Raccoon City before the entire city is nuked. [[PutOnABus Not bad for his final canon appearance]] until ''[[VideoGame/ResidentEvilRevelations2 Revelations 2]]'' years later.

Even with getting chased by Nemesis, there's a few scenarios where one can celebrate the kickass moments, as well in the updated ''Awesome/ResidentEvil3Remake''.

* You've been on the run from the Nemesis since the first ten minutes of gameplay, and even after blasting him ''twice'' with a gigantic rail gun, ''[[{{Determinator}} he's still]] '''[[ImplacableMan alive.]]''''' That in itself counts as a Moment of Awesome for the BOW, but if you choose to finish him, Jill gets to pump six magnum rounds into his skull, as she delivers a mocking one-liner that pokes fun at Nemesis' CatchPhrase:

* Jill was already a badass heroine in the very first game, but this game cranks that {{Up To Eleven}}. Though her early narrations and the narration [[spoiler:after her infection]] shows clear surprise at still being alive, she's ''determined as hell'' to stick it to Umbrella by surviving the hellish city. They took everything from her, but she won't let them take her life...and in spite of Nemesis, all the monsters in the city, [[spoiler:being infected with the T-Virus]], and the missiles wiping out the city, she ''does survive''!

* When you get to the factory, you find the remains of a U.S Military Special Forces team. Whoever these guys were, they were ''badass''. They managed to kill three mutated Mr. X tyrants--including blasting one into a wall with a rail gun--before dying, presumably fighting them all at ''once''.

** Also worth noting is from a data file in Umbrella Chronicles, it's mentioned that '''Nemesis''' was deployed not just for STARS, but as a countermeasure to stop the Delta Force just in case they succeeded in stealing Umbrella's secrets. It's a pragmatic insurance policy, but it's still pretty badass even by implication that Umbrella saw a circumstance in which the Deltas might actually succeed in defeating the Mr. X units and getting out alive. So Nemesis was the GodzillaThreshold for the Delta Force.

** Another minor, easily forgotten moment--Nemesis is still moving after Jill uses the magnum rounds to defeat him. If those final twitches are anything to go by, he could have regenerated and come back after her ''again''. This means that the only thing that finally put Nemesis down is a ''nuke''.

* Can we give props to the RPD and UBCS in the intro for trying to save Raccoon City? Especially the RPD officers who, by that point in the outbreak, willing went to face what must have been ''thousands'' of zombies. Yes they ultimately failed, but you have to respect that kind of dedication to duty.

* Somewhere between Awesome and Nightmare Fuel, but, if you make the choice that leads to Jill confronting Nikolai outside the treatment room[[note]]choose to push the Nemesis off of the bridge to the Dead Factory[[/note]], then you have the deeply satisfactory expiry of Nikolai's KarmaHoudiniWarranty as the Nemesis brutally tears him apart -- a fitting end for a sociopathic avaricious scumbag.

* It's not canon to the games, but in the "Biohazard 3: Last Escape" manhua, Nemesis (codenamed "Sniper" here) has a running battle against G-Birkin, literally fist-fighting the mutating MadScientist in awesome, building-shattering brawls. Nemesis also gets the sweet moment of vengeance when it manages to kill the Umbrella executive who took an innocent boxer, murdered his wife and son, and had him transformed into the Nemesis in the first place.
