* Depending upon how you look at it, the fact that Caius is the first villain in the series to come out on top is pretty cool. The fact that he made a {{Determinator}} like Lightning give up (albeit temporarily) makes it more impressive.

* The fifth paradox ending "The Future is Hope" gives Snow one of these after another. It starts with him [[BigDamnHeroes engaging in his favorite past time]] by saving Serah and Noel from Alyssa's booby trapped gate continues with him pre-emptively saving Hope by informing him of an assassination and taking a temporary {{leader}}ship role by dishing out duties. [[BeyondTheImpossible It ends with him returning to the Historia Crux without a time gate]]. That's right, Snow turned Shiva into a time machine!

-->'''Arbiter of Time''': Foolish children of Man. The crime you commit is grievous indeed. The Arbiter of Time serves the goddess of death in all her merciless splendor. All mortal beings stand as equals when they receive their ultimate judgement. Only the most powerful is chosen to pass the sentence. ''(transforms into Valfodr)'' '''Your sin is your arrogance. Such hubris, to think you could challenge me! Drown in seas of blood, writhe in infernal flame, and suffer eternal torment! Your punishment awaits!'''

* The beginning of the game. It starts with Lightning vs Caius in Valhalla and you get to fight him as Lightning running across the shores of Valhalla on Odin against Chaos Bahamut, followed by some cinematic scenes with Advent Children physics as Lightning and Caius fight. Then Noel shows up through a gate and Lightning saves him by summoning Bahamut and fights Chaos Bahamut in the air, sends Noel to the past to find Serah as Caius summons a massive meteor. Lightning responds by having Odin throw her into the meteor. And that's just the prologue.
