** Don't forget Cielo [[spoiler: blasting one of Bat's wings off and saving Sera, thus allowing the beating mentioned above without Bat to worry about.]]
* Gale earns his own [=CMoA=] after [[spoiler: Lupa's death, promising him to take his message to his child, and then [[NotSoStoic breaking out]] of his usual [[{{Stoic}} coldness]] to say:]]

** Even before that, he gains points even as an emotionless droid. When first talking to Lupa, he suspects he's an assassin sent by Varin Omega. Without missing a beat, he flicks open the blade he keeps in his boot and delivers a near-perfect kick to Lupa's throat. Which only stops from being perfect because the blade stopped at mere ''milimeters'' from actually touching Lupa. Who, incidentally, ''keeps a perfect poker face through it all''.
* And of course, [[spoiler: the freaking scene before the final fight! With Serph pushing himself even beyond the paralysis imposed on him by the closest thing to a god's will in that world, and still managing to transform, and reach out to Sera and Angel, breaking his comrades free of the paralysis, and cue to the final battle.]]

* The introduction of ''Digital Devil Saga 2'', before the events of the game even starts, Serph is navigating the now devoid of life real world and stops in front of a statue with a gun in its mouth. He is surrounded by Karma society troops immediately after that. The following scene was the single most badass display that cements the reason why he is the leader of the Embryon.
* Roland's first appearance in the game starts with a nihilistic CrowningMomentOfAwesome, moves onto a badass CrowningMomentOfAwesome, [[spoiler:since seriously, who gives themselves a virus that causes them to become a ''cannibal demon'' in order to find redemption without being a complete and utter badass]], and ends with a enlightened CrowningMomentOfAwesome when he [[spoiler:apologizes to Fred and goes off to die against Meganada, knowing it's his karma.]]
* When Sera [[spoiler:becomes a cannibal demon]]. Go Sera! Go Sera! I knew you weren't useless.
* In the flashback, [[spoiler:the original Serph, manipulating Nurse Argilla into shooting Heat's original model when Heat tried to stop him from torturing Sera any more. Granted, it didn't turn out well for him...]]
* Cielo's moment to step up comes when [[spoiler:facing the leader of Tribhvana, who had gone mad enough to devour his own partners, which unleashed the [[BewareTheNiceOnes usually calm Cielo's fury]], who's ready to kick his ass, but instead of killing him, [[ShutUpHannibal he ends up making him realize what he's done]], and makes him ''regret it''.]]
* The later half of the game is ''full'' of Crowning Moments of Awesome for the ''[[BigDamnHeroes entire supportive cast!!]]'' '''And this here is getting into serious spoilers''', [[spoiler:'cause it's all about HeroicSacrifices.]]
** Argilla and Ronald [[spoiler:sacrificing themselves in order to stop the so far [[TheDragon unstoppable beast, Meganada]]. [[FaceDeathWithDignity Done with smiles on their faces as they die]]!]]
** Gale [[spoiler:, after granting his comrades an opportunity to go forth [[YouShallNotPass by facing Angel by himself]], reveals to her his original identity, [[LukeIAmYourFather that of her dead lover, David]], and [[AnAesop gives her a speech about David's honorable intentions]], and when she attemps to kill her, he doesn't make any effort on avoiding the attack, but instead, [[TakingYouWithMe uses it as opportunity to kill her as well]].]]
** Cielo's [[spoiler:HeroicSacrifice probably comes as [[TearJerker the most touching of them all]]. After [[ItHasBeenAnHonor saying goodbye to Sera and promising to meet her again in Nirvana (Read: Heaven/Afterlife)]], [[SomeoneHasToDie he does what he has to do]], and proceeds to charge against military jets and missiles ''[[LoadBearingHero all by himself!]]'' He cuts a jet's wing with his own, flies around the missiles causing them to clash against one another, while using the final two to knock down another jet. And finally, [[HowMuchMoreCanHeTake with his whole body bleeding and his limbs cut]], [[{{Self-Destructive Charge}} he charges]] ''[[{{Self-Destructive Charge}} through]]'' [[{{Self-Destructive Charge}} the last jet]], blowing it entirely. Even if you saw it coming, the moment is still ''that'' strong.]]
*** [[spoiler: Even the fact that he could have used his lasers (which he lampshades later himself) didn't do anything to take away from the moment.]]
** Even Heat's [[spoiler:last moments come as surprising, seeing as he's about to die and can't do anything about it, he uses [[FinalSpeech his last words]] to [[IfYouEverDoAnythingToHurtHer tell Serph to take care of Sera]], even to the point of demanding him to tell her he killed him, [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy so that she doesn't have to feel guilty]]. [[ItHasBeenAnHonor It's no surprise to see Serph carrying his corpse in his arms after that]].]]
