* An early one for the Matoran. As the Gahlok flood much of Onu-Koro, three Onu-Matoran – Onepu, Taipu, and Nuparu – are trapped in one collapsed tunnel. They come across a broken Gahlok, and Nuparu has an idea. Shortly after, as the Gahlok continue their destruction in the heart of Onu-Koro, a wall suddenly bursts open, and something else stomps out. The thing is bulkier and slower than the Bohrok, but heavily armored, and with Nuparu in the pilot's seat. Nuparu confronts two Gahlok in his new invention... and is implied to have won.
--->'''Nuparu''': I'm an engineer, not a poet. Besides, a practical name will be easiest for you monsters to remember. I'll call it... Boxor!
** Later, a whole company of Boxors, part of a larger ambush, are used to fight off the Nuhvok and liberate Le-Koro.

* BIONICLE Day 2023 saw the release of a new song by Cryoshell and Essenger, titled "As Above, So Below", to commemorate the occasion. What gives this song extra awesome points is that after ''twenty years,'' they brought back Christopher Gaze, the voice of Turaga Vakama, to provide narration at the beginning of the official music video. Now that's dedication!

* ''Legacy of Evil'' has Hakann single-handedly guaranteeing the freedom of the Dark Hunters to leave Metru Nui after Lhikan set up a counter-trap for Nidhiki and Lariska. In exchange for returning the Makoki Stone to Lhikan, the Dark Hunters were allowed to leave Metru Nui as opposed to being forced out of it in a battle, all while Nidhiki was cast out by the other Toa and Lariska would undoubtably be punished by The Shadowed One for her failure.

* With Bionicle, even the advertising is great. Bionicle was meant to save Lego from bankruptcy. So as you can imagine, a lot of effort went into the advertising. So much effort and creativity that one has to wonder if it was the story promoting the toys or selling the toys to promote the story. I think we know the results by now.

[[AC:Meta]]
* A Website/YouTube channel called [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRDIe4m-hac8m_v2wRvZd7w Noah Productions [NP] ]] actually created their own stop-motion film about the Ignition trilogy which haven't been adapted in film. They currently managed to create movies about [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3p2HCLiDxo the Toa Inika]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXT_69zTtMg&t= the Toa Mahri]]. Thus allowing fans to know about the lore behind those figures.
* The sheer amount of personality that goes into the individual set designs is what drew kids to the toys in the first place. Every character has their own story, and even among sets (i.e. the Toa Mata), they differ just enough to where each one seems to be its own. They even resembled humans in weird ways that other toys for their day and age wouldn't have; for example, Lewa has fingerless gloves and Pohatu's upside-down body translates to him being an {{Acrofatic}}.
** It would also be so easy to just give all the Toa PersonalityPowers, but Farshtey ''[[PowerStereotypeFlip defies]]'' this -- Nokama is hot-tempered, Iruini is sanguine, Jaller level-headed and thoughtful, etc.
* If you ever needed proof the ''Bionicle'' {{fandom}} is still alive and kicking, WebVideo/TheTTVChannel has been hosting contests to design official appearances for characters who've gone without one for too long. And we do mean offical -- just like the good old days, ''the winning entries are canonized by Greg Farshtey himself.'' So far, they've done [[https://biosector01.com/wiki/Helryx Helryx]] and [[https://biosector01.com/wiki/Artakha_(Being) Artakha]], and up next is the rest of the [[https://biosector01.com/wiki/Toa_Hagah Toa Hagah]]!

** Furthermore, due to The LEGO Group's relaxed limitations on fan projects (Mainly, they must be non-profit, and must state they are unofficial projects), ''The Masks of Power'' will be officially listed on Steam.
* The rarest Bionicle piece is a solid platinum [[MaskofPower Kanohi Avohkii]] created for a 2003 Toonami contest, was bought by a collector for a whopping [[https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/platinum-lego-piece-sold-for-15000-w-video/ $15,000 USD]]. ** Especially since Teridax chose him, out of every mask maker in Ta-Metru, to build the Vahi in the first place.

* Matau, definitely gets his in the third movie, "Web of Shadows." While the other Toa are fighting the horde, he manages to escape, find Vakama, and they have a duel, Anakin/Obi-Wan style. In the end, Vakama knocks Matau to the edge of the tower they're fighting on. Matau manages to grab onto the edge to avoid plummeting to his doom. Vakama steps on his hand, trying to get him to let go and fall. Matau, the ego-maniac who never admits to ever being wrong, then apologies for his unsympathetic criticism of Vakama's leadership and appealing to him to lead the Toa once again. Matau then lets go of the ledge to his doom, counting on him to rescue him.

** This needs to be emphasized. Teridax is using the Staff of Artakha to bring back the Nui Stone, Matoro is helpless, and it seems that all is lost. * Near the end, the six Rahkshi have Takua and Jaller surrounded only for the six Toa to show up to fight them. Before this point only Kopaka has been able to slow them down while all the others have been curbstomped no matter if they outnumbered them or not. Six versus six, and it's completely in the Toa's favor.

Six versus six, and it's completely in the Toa's favor. A subtle, but powerful, reminder that all the stuff the Turaga have been saying about unity isn't just mystical nonsense--one Toa on their own is powerful, but together, they really are more than the sum of their parts.

** Even more Awesome is when the Takanuva-Makuta hybrid being resurrects Jaller from just his mask. Yet Takanuva manages to use some of ''Makuta's own power'' to bring Jaller back.

** Lewa then uses the psychic remnants of the mind control to help defeat the threat.
* Kopaka freezing a lava flow and Lewa figuring out how to get past an unsmashable wall: There is nothing that Onua and Pohatu can't break. Therefore, since they can't break the wall, it must not exist. As soon as its nature as an illusion is revealed, the wall vanishes.
* During the battle with Cahdok and Gahdok, Gahdok figures out that Gali's weakness is intense heat and proceeds to start giving her heatstroke via continuous blasts of fire. Tahu takes one look at this and simply steps in between them, absorbing the fire with no problem whatsoever and allowing Gali to recover while he singlehandedly holds Gahdok off.

* What, no mention of the epic Takanuva vs Makuta battle? Teridax mockingly challenges him to a game of deadly kolhii, which Takanuva wins. Then, when Teridax gets back up, Takanuva jumps on him and wrenches the Mask of Shadows off the Makuta's face, sending them toppling back into a pool of energized protodermis, fusing them together. * Kind of Fridge-y, but Vakama's creation of the Vahi, the Legendary Mask of Time. Sure, it happens fairly quickly in the movies, but think about it: the Vahi is a mask so powerful, if damaged, Time itself would be undone within the Matoran Universe. There are only two other masks as powerful: the Ignika, the Mask of Life, and Artakha's Mask of Creation. Guess who made those? The Great Beings, more or less the greatest inventors and creators in Bionicle. That's right, Vakama is a mask-maker on par with the creators of his universe. Of course, he did have help from Artakha, who made the mask's composite materials (the Great Disks), but the point still stands.
