* The return of Team Arrow's classic ThreeAmigos dynamic!

* Oliver and Komodo's duel on their motorcycles. Each of them is besting each other and when Oliver manages to [[Film/BackToTheFuture rip the fuel line]] of the latter's motorcycle, Komodo does a quick arrow to Oliver's arm, ending the fight. If it wasn't for the arrow, he would have won the fight against Komodo.

* Felicity has no hesitation about getting Oliver's personal space when he pisses her off even though he outweighs her and is taller. At one point, Diggle intervenes because it looks like they might actually get into a physical fight.

* And what was Talia doing in prison in the first place? Batman (or someone in the Bat-Family) easily took down the person Team Arrow had so much trouble with all by himself.

* Bet you never thought you'd see a reference to [[ComicBook/TheSandman Death of the Endless]] on this show. Well, just check out Felicity's college look.

* Slade gets his first chronological one [[FaceHeelTurn as a villain]] when he takes over the ''Amazo'' [[AsskickingEqualsAuthority by killing its captain]] and ''[[AnArmAndALeg cuts off Ivo's hand]]''. He puts the cherry on top with two words:

* Arrow and Black Canary (who thought Oliver would have told her family that she was alive) fighting side by side in a true BattleCouple moment against the hired goons of "The Mayor", and it finishes with them using each other's own WeaponOfChoice right after Oliver had taken out a grenade with his '''arrow'''.

* Meta: Whatever ones belief on the issue is credit is given to the show for having the guts to do an entire episode on the debate on gun control and yet still remain pretty neutral. Throughout the episode both sides of the debate are given and no ones arguement overcomes the other. For a comic book show to tackle on a incredibly political yet sensitive topic is a badass moment of bravery.

* On a meta level, the way the series brilliantly suckered fans with the revelation that Prometheus was actually Adrian Chase. Very few fans guessed it and as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgwA0ASZIOc this montage shows]] fans were truly stunned by this unexpected turn, showing how well the writers had set the twist up.

* The flashbacks also present a meta moment of awesome, as John Barrowman returns as Malcolm Merlyn.

* Oliver finally exposing himself as the Green Arrow! While In-Universe this is many of the characters' worst nightmare, on a Meta level you have to give the show runners credit for not only potentially changing the StatusQuoIsGod of Arrow, but also the ''entire Arrowverse''.

* Stephen Amell broke Facebook. Yes, you heard that right: during a Q&A for his fans, he answered so many questions that the algorithms determined that he was a spam bot.
* Stephen Amell's utterly epic rant about the Russian Olympic games forcing ''Arrow'' to take a hiatus. His complete and utter disdain for the country's homophobic politics is truly awesome.

* After the death of Sara Lance, a group of fans, including even Caity Lotz, were so unsatisfied with her death that [[https://www.change.org/p/the-executive-producers-and-writers-of-arrow-bring-sara-back-the-canary-lives-initiative they started a petition]] to bring her back. Eventually, the CW announced an Arrow Spin-Off with Lotz in it. But it also sadly motivated the creators to kill off Laurel in the very season Sara was resurrected, with the assurance that she will NOT be brought back.
* The way that Deadshot's PTSD was portrayed is one for the writers, for daring to tackle such a serious subject and depict it accurately. Bonus points for his actor for conveying just how he felt.
* Sin's actress Creator/BexTaylorKlaus strongly supports Sin being an agender asexual and approves of the fan's headcanons about Sin's gender and sexuality. Sure, it's not canon but it's not an everyday thing to see an actor support headcanons of their characters from fans, and is so onboard with agender/asexual representation.
* During San Diego Comic-Con, Stephen Amell [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP3pi_unmf0&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=FlicksAndTheCity unveils a big change for Season 4]] with an inspiring speech that had the crowd more or less breathless. Bonus points for doing so with his new costume on.
* The name of the first episode of the fourth season? - "Green Arrow"
* Katie Cassidy recieved a PRISM award for her portrayal of Laurel's substance addiction/alcoholism.
* [[http://io9.com/matt-ryan-to-return-as-constantine-on-arrow-1723474032 The announcement]] that Matt Ryan would reprise his role as John Constantine in this show after ''Series/{{Constantine}}'' was cancelled.
* At Heroes and Villains Fan Fest, Stephen Amell confirms that Sara and Felicity are together on Earth 2, since his character is dead in that Universe.
* John Barrowman and Katie Cassidy both have possibly the biggest contract that you can get as a DCTV actor: a recurring role in every CW DCTV show.
* All the actors in Arrow showing some form of bitterness at Laurel's death. and Katie Cassidy's shoddy treatment from the writers is both awesome and heartwarming, as it shows that the cast are and will always be a family.
* As part of Creator/{{NBC}}'s annual Red Nose Day, Amell made a special guest appearance on ''Series/AmericanNinjaWarrior'' where he participated in seven of the course's obstacles, including the salmon ladder, and [[https://www.facebook.com/nbc/videos/10155363602595746/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE completed them all with little difficulty]].

** Barry takes out the League members by essentially being a OneManArmy and then freeing his friends.

* Oliver sending Dhark into the closest we've seen yet to a VillainousBreakdown by hosting a press conference in which he reveals Darhk's and H.I.V.E.'s existence to Star City - complete with a photograph of Darhk. Dhark is so pissed, he blows up the TV that he's watching it on with his powers.

** Merlyn actually ''dominates'' the fight any moment where Darhk isn't able to trap him with his powers. Along with the above mentioned arrow catch trick, Merlyn also manages to inflict the most damage anyone has yet to HIVE's blond magician. He fires two arrows at once that not only knock Darhk down, but pin him there dazed, long enough for Merlyn to walk over, pin a massive explosive arrow next to Darhk, smirk, and leave Darkh to be blown up.

* Felecity gets a nickname: Overwatch.

* The Recruits somehow get it into their heads that they can take on Oliver. Oliver corrects this by curbstomping all three of them in seconds with no effort.

* Black Siren refusing to go along with Diaz and following along with "Tommy Merlin" being the Green Arrow, followed by directly grinning at the TV camera. She all but outright told Diaz in no uncertain terms to go F*** himself.

* Talia al Ghul makes her long-awaited official entrance to the show...and is revealed to have set the entire Arrowverse into motion by convincing Oliver to use his experiences over the past five years to mold himself into "someone else...something else." He proceeds to put on his full suit for the first time, to which she nods in approval.

* Felicity's WorldOfCardboardSpeech as she realizes why it's still important to keep up the fight.

* Sin's Actress Bex Taylor-Klaus strongly supports Sin being an agender asexual and approves of the fan's headcanons about Sin's gender and sexuality. Sure, it's not canon but it's not an everyday thing to see an actor support headcanons of their characters from fans, and is so onboard with agender/asexual representation.

* When interrogating a Triad member that couldn't see him, he speaks Mandarin so well that the mook has no doubt that he's Chinese:

* On Ln Yu, Slade and Shado [[BigDamnHeroes coming to the rescue]] of Ollie and Sara, in spite of Slade's injuries.

* Thanks to one mention of Nanda Parbat, Moira manages to contact the League of Assassins and inform them that Malcolm is still alive, ensuring he'll be too busy running away from Ra's al Ghul to reveal to Thea that he is her father]]. To truly emphasize how awesome this is, [[spoiler:upon hearing Moira speak the name Ra's al Ghul, the smug smirk that seems to be Malcolm's default facial expression vanishes and all he can ask is how Moira knows that name. He says they're not finished, but he leaves instead of doing what he came to do.

* Thea gets one for [[spoiler: calling out Oliver and Moira on keeping her true parentage from her]], even if [[spoiler: Slade did lie to her about how long Oliver knew it]].

** He may not be in the suit but the Arrow is back!
* [[spoiler: Roy returns.]]

* [[spoiler: Diggle's CurbstompBattle against Diaz!]]

* In order to get [[spoiler: Brick's help]] to get info on Diaz, Oliver is told to use a shiv to take care of Yorke, a prison guard who has been a bit of trouble for most in the prison. Well, Oliver uses the shiv, but not to kill him. Instead he makes it look like Yorke stabbed him, getting him fired and following [[spoiler: Brick's orders]] to the letter. Even [[spoiler: Brick]] is impressed.

* The second is when Slade feigned allegiance ''again'' by knocking out Oliver and bringing him to Chase, just so Oliver can track down his other friends and get close to Chase. It's clear that Chase is no longer ten steps ahead.

** The first time was when Talia and Evelyn successfully lured them into a trap. Captain Boomerang, revealed to be TheMole for Chase all along, gives Slade the choice of siding with Chase. Slade pretends to accept and asks Evelyn to put a gun to his head. In a twist, Oliver uses the disarming technique Slade taught him 10 years ago on Evelyn and manages to stop Talia from killing Samantha. Slade, on the other hand, immediately tells Boomerang (who immediately assumes that Slade wants to be on the winning side) that "Assumption is the mother of all failures!" before beating the shit out of him.
