* FateDrivesUsTogether: Our commoner heroine, Sally Yoshinaga being from a low-income family technically would never have any chance to cross paths with the high-and-above all Might Senpuuji. But her courageous confrontation with an enemy one night changes the gears for her, as Might would take her to safety. Ever since that night, due to her RunningGag of switching jobs and engulfed in-between battles, Sally and Might get to know each other little-by-little during each encounter. Eventually, the two falls in love.

* AccidentalPervert: Played with in episode four. Sally's [[ItMakesSenseInContext caught in a swarm of robotic mice]], and Might helps beat them off. There's one left, and in removing it, Might [[ThanksForTheMammary accidentally cops a feel]]. Sally slaps him on reflex, then realizes what she just did and runs away, crying out apologies.

* CoolSword: Might Gaine has one, Dorinken.

* BigBad: [[spoiler:Black Noir]]

* CinderellaCircumstances: Sally, a high school girl struggling to make ends meet in taking care of her hospitalized single parent dad and elementary school little brother, takes on different part time jobs per episode throughout the series and ''unfortunately'' gets trapped within enemy disputes practically all the time. And the one who always saves her was PrinceCharming Might... ah-hem, [[RagsToRoyalty conclusion please]].
* DistressedDamsel: Sally
* HeelRealization: [[spoiler:As he dies, Black Noir questions if, instead of being the player of his game, he was actually the villain.]]
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Battle Bomber is destroyed taking an attack for Great Might Gaine.]]
* HeroKiller: Good god, Joe. He kills Tri Bomber early on for [[YouShallNotPass barring his way to fighting Might Gaine]] (though when Tri Bomber keeps getting up after it's clearly unable to fight, he relents) and later he [[spoiler: destroys Might Gaine after multiple fights in which he got close to doing it.]] This all BEFORE he gets his upgrade.
* HotBlooded: Might is so hot blooded, he was able to drill THROUGH the center of the Earth and survive it.

* InTheNameOfTheMoon: Might delivers one from time to time.

* PrincelyYoungMan: Might. He's the young and sassy CEO of the world's largest transportation company, with all the princely qualities below:
** BenevolentBoss: He constantly surveys his company's various projects, and made sure to greet all of his employees and personally give compliments for their hard works. As for his personal subjects, he treats them like his own family, and made sure their needs are granted.
** {{Bishonen}}: Complete with HairFlip, eye-winks, and some BishieSparkle.
** TheCharmer: He's very good at sweet-talking with people, even with the jerkasses that threat the society.
** MrFanservice: He provided an awesome length of his ShowerScene upon his introduction shot right on the ''first episode''.
** PrinceCharming
** TeenGenius: At the age of 15, his intelligence is actually more on the Ph.D level. But rather in heading straight to college, he chose to stay in high school so that he can stay with his average, middle-class close friend, Hamada.
** WarriorPrince
* TheRival: Joe Rival. (Very obvious indeed.)

* ShipperOnDeck: Grandpa Senpuuji is very, ''very'' active in taking Might and his staff to wherever Sally part-times in, calls Sally in to serve during meal time for [[EveryoneCanSeeIt everyone to see the embarrassed look on Might's face]].

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Might is often translated to Maito, much like how [[Anime/GaoGaiGar Guy]] is sometimes translated as Gai, primarily to keep consistency with how names of mecha are spelled.
* TakingYouWithMe: [[spoiler:Joe does a suicide run and flies his mecha right into Exeve's cockpit, impaling him on the drill.]]

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Grandpa Yuujiro can't live without his nattōs.
