** Probably an involuntary example, but the genetic wombs in which the citizens of Romdeau are created are incredibly similar to the Looms of the Literature/{{Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures}}. Said Looms create genetically identical (if coming from the same Loom) Time Lords and, as a means of keeping the population stable, the individuals created this way are sterile. Moreover, there cannot be more than forty-five people born from the same Loom living at any given time.

Said Looms create genetically identical (if coming from the same Loom) Time Lords individuals (called Cousins due to their identical DNA) and, as a means of keeping the population stable, the individuals created this way are sterile. Moreover, there cannot be more than forty-five ''forty-five'' people born from the same Loom living at any given time.

* Shout-Out: An involuntary example: the genetic womb in which the citizens of Romdeau are created are incredibly similar to the Looms of the [[Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures].

** More or less justified in that these people have lived perfect and safe lives in the bubble that is Romdeau up to this point. They have no context for what's going on.

*** While it could be referencing any number of game shows, the chair setup and lighting for the final quiz is clearly based on WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire, and the episode title is presumably a reference to Series/{{Jeopardy}}.

* AdolfHitlarious: Vincent's boss looks like Hitler. He appears in episode 1 and later in episode 21. In the German dub, his voice in episode 1 is normal, regular German, but at some point between the episodes they apparently stopped giving fucks altogether and told the voice actor to go nuts with the stereotypical Führer accent for episode 21.
