* ''Fanfic/ForumOfThrones''

to:

* ''Fanfic/ForumOfThrones''''Fanfic/ForumOfThrones'':

to:

* Twilight easily has this in spades in ''FanFic/AHollowInEquestria''. Her infatuation with all the mysteries of Ulquiorra's nature makes it very hard not to smile.

[[AC: ''Webcomic/Homestuck'']]
* Tavros, John, Jade, and Nepeta in ''Fanfic/{{Brainbent}}'' all qualify. Tavros' dorkiness is even lampshaded by the authors in his character introduction. Equius is a somewhat odd example, at least [[http://brainbent.tumblr.com/post/30886067793/feferi-wake-up from Feferi's point of view]]. Something about the combination of GentleGiant, ComicallySerious (with occasional lighter moments), and RealMenWearPink.
* tecnicianMagician and constantThinker in the ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' FanFic ''FanFic/AdultStuck''.

* ''Webcomic/TwilightsFirstDay'', focussing on a young Twilight Sparkle starting at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, emphasises the adorkable aspects of her personality. However, plenty of the adult cast have their moments too, from the slightly ditzy literature teacher Flyleaf gushing about the wonders of libraries, to the tough and grizzled military pony Thunderhead boasting about the time he saved Princess Celestia from a rogue griffon attack.
* ''Fanfic/{{Pandemic}}'': This is Starlight's [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] opinion of Twilight's foalhood journal entries in chapter 22.

22.
* Luna describes Dusk Skyshine as this to Moondreamer Finemare in ''Fanfic/AMeetingByMoonlight''. At least he seemed that way to her when they were young: by "[[Fanfic/ThirtySecondsOverToKiRin Thirty Seconds Over To-Ki-Rin]]" he's become more of an ActionHero.
* Twilight is this in ''Fanfic/Arrow18MissionLogs'', as per canon, but her reaction to realizing that Randy is trying to communicate with her using ''[[MundaneMadeAwesome MATH]]'' is a standout.

to:

* Ignoring their CreepyChild shenanigans, both [[EnigmaticMinion Kaworu]] and [[EnsembleDarkhorse Kei]] (female example) can come off as this in ''FanFic/NobodyDies''.

to:

* ''Fanfic/Ancienverse'': Despite being a fierce battler and Runner-Up of the Kalos League, Ash still acts with giddy excitement upon arriving in Alola.
** Hau is this as well, considering his cheerful attitude and love for malasadas.

* In the fic ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10377231/1/Security Security!]]'', Amy Dallon is placed with the Hebert family to get her away from the numerous problems she is facing at home. She bonds with them so well that she ends up calling Danny Hebert 'Dad' by accident, more than once. He doesn't correct her.

her.
* Taylor is this in ''FanFic/ASkitteringHeart''. She's shy, socially awkward, a little nerdy and oblivious and as such is somewhat of a dork. She also acts very cutely with her best friend Sabah which makes her adorable. Sabah seems to quite like this.

Added DiffLines:

[[AC: ''Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire'']]
* ''Fanfic/ForumOfThrones''
** Dairon, who has a lack of social skills, is shy and friendly and a bookish nerd. [[spoiler:Which makes his early death all the more tragic.]]
** Hjalgar has shades of this as well. He is one of the few genuinely nice and kind Ironborn in the story, very shy and his unwillingness to kill others can come across as endearing. That said, he is a serious case of BewareTheNiceOnes.
** Arthur Nathamer crosses into this territory whenever he encounters a beautiful woman to crush on.

* In Story/TheSpiritOfHeroes, we have our protagonist, Byakuya Kurogane. From his hopeful, optimistic nature, his [[BadLiar inability to]] [[CannotTellALie lie]], his [[NoSocialSkills lack of anything resembling social skills]], his determination to do anything once he sticks to it, and his general NiceGuy demeanour will help the audience stay attached to him. His hammy speeches about Hope are endearing to watch, and once he regains his memories of his past, you just want to give him a hug. But may God have mercy on your soul if you harm one of his friends.

Added DiffLines:

* ''Literature/VioletThiefOfTheHermitCore'': Multiple examples.
** Lana, being the token rich kid, grew up in luxury. Her attempts to adjust to society in a lower living standard can be quite cute and funny to read.
** Gen. His kindness and naivete, in addition to his IdiotHero tendencies, are quite endearing.
** Laven, post CharacterDevelopment. He is InnocentlyInsensitive, lacks social skills, and extremely blunt.

to:

* [[VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins Alistair]]'s adorkable tendencies are turned UpToEleven in ''Fanfic/ShadowAndRose'', because he's been promoted to protagonist. The entire story is him writing in his personal journal throughout the events of the game, and when it comes to most things - particularly as he falls in love - he's practically the walking definition of the trope.

* In ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10677182/6/There-s-Nothing-Sweeter There's Nothing Sweeter]]'' Gwen Potter mentally refers to Anthony Goldstein as "just so adorably dorky."

* Jotaro Kujo, the hero of Part 3, is canonically a grade-A {{Badass}} with a bad attitude and an unshakable will. However, his asocial demeanor and some [[{{Narm}} hilariously corny lines]] have led to some {{Fanon}} interpretations of him being more of a lovable dweeb who's actively trying to be badass. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I32Nki0dUHQ Case in point.]]
