Lale: Was there a reason for cutting this?

  • Robin is actually a mutant clone of the three original Robins that was sent back in time to stop the world from being destroyed by giant robots and somehow got caught up defending San Francisco The City from evil. He does seem to be a combination of all the other Robins and the parts where his power fluctuates (beating Cinderblock with his bare hands in one episode and being genuinely challenged by common thugs the next) could be explained as the "Mutant" part of "Mutant Clone" surfacing.

Restored it for the meantime.

  • Highly unlikely, if not already Jossed. In the episode you're referring to, Slade Wilson's unmasked face is entirely in shadow, making his hair appear black. We've seen Slade's unmasked face before in "Forces of Nature," and Slade's hair is platinum blonde, much like the DCU Slade Wilson: [1]
    • We never saw Slade's unmasked face. The old guy from "Forces of Nature" is not how he really looks like. Did you forget about the last shot of him in that episode when his face was cracking? He was wearing a mask over his mask!
      • You're talking about two different episodes. There is one episode, I think in the first season, where his mask DOES get knocked off. However, as stated by the above troper, he was in shadow. The only true features we see are his single eye and black hair, with maybe some sort of green highlights.

fleb: So... what episode was it that Slade's face showed up in shadow? I saw the rotting-skull reveal and the mask-under-the-mask, but that's it.

DoomTay: Deleted one of the two "The show is in the same universe as The Batman" since it's, well, redundant, and they both similar;ly point out how the Killer Moth is different between the two shows. Bottom line, both duplicate theories say the same stuff, so I deleted one of them.
