Working Title: You Can\'t Change the Past: From YKTTW

Odd Most Odd: I think some of the examples on this page really belong in Stable Time Loop (and/or are already there). You Already Changed the Past ought to be a special case of Stable Time Loop where whatever the time traveler is trying to change turns out to have been caused by them in the first place. So the Harry Potter example doesn't fit because the purpose of Harry and Hermione's trip to the past is to save Buckbeak and Sirius Black, who both would have been in danger anyway if no time travel had happened.

Meta Four: Primer is not an example of this. Remember the scene where Abe emerges from the Failsafe box, on the day of his original trip back in time: Under You Already Changed The Past rules, this day would have played out exactly as it had earlier in the movie. Instead we're shown that events played out differently.
