Working Title: PowerSlows: From YKTTW
. It was launched as "PowerSlows" but was renamed via cut-and-paste. I guess someone didn't like the cutesy title.
Staggered startup has its uses because many devices (especially flourescent and gas discharge lamps, i.e. warehouse and stadium lighting, respectively) draw a high current when switched on initially. So to not blow the fuse when turning on lights, there may often be a slight delay between subsequent groups of lights, even if controlled by a single switch.
