Working Title: Death fades, scars are forever: From YKTTW
: Why does this article discuss lost eyes and limbs as if, in real life, they will naturally grow back?
: Eh? Might be the first line. It's not supposed to imply these losses can be magiced away in real life, but that in fiction it's a lot easier to resurrect a guy than it is to give them back a lost arm, eye, or remove a huge first degree burn scar.
: The Highlander movie reference reminds me that there was a TV-series immortal with another nasty neck scar — he'd been an opera singer until Duncan cut his voicebox with a chunk of glass.
Is there a better page quote for this? It just seems redundant.
