I realize there's no such thing as notabillity, but does there really need to be a page for a horribly drawn infantilism fetish comic hosted on deviant art here?

  • I have been waiting for someone to say this ever since I found someone had set this page up. Anyone else have something to say about taking this down? I'm against it, but being the creator, I read this Tropes page with a clear conflict of interest.
    • You must both 1) recognize that this story is getting some high praise for having actual plot instead of just pure fetish indulgence, and 2) remember that There Is No Such Thing As Notability.
    • ...That doesn't change the fact it's a creepy-as-fuck pedophile comic drawn in MS Paint. Can we please get rid of this page? It's an embarrassment to TV Tropes.
    • "'There haven't been many tales publicized of people regressing to their younger selves to find a degree of moral happiness simply because it's never been done right before. But Adam Cowie finds a way to connect with the audience unlike any other- the realness of childhood displayed in such a manner to where it grabs our inner child and makes us think of a time where everything was bigger, brighter and new. Something we can't ever forget as adults.'— James Daly, on Erika's New Perfume" Now, posters 1, 2, & 3, I say simply that if you don't like the series (if you've even seen it), simply don't look at it or its TV Tropes page. Pretend it doesn't exist, put it out of your mind, go somewhere else on this site, and let those of us who enjoy the Erika-verse keep its trope page around to look at and update whenever we please to.
      • What? I- Okay, first of all, who is James Daly and why should I care about him? Secondly, this comic doesn't even remotely accomplish what his quote said! Yes, I read the story, so you can take your Take That! and shove it. It gave me the jibblies and not much else. Look, no offense to the creator. I get that you want to make stuff that appeals to you. But this DOES NOT BELONG ON TV TROPES. At least, it doesn't belong on TV Tropes being portrayed in such a positive light! By having this page here, you're making it look like TV Tropes wholeheartedly supports infantilism fetish comics drawn in Paint, and that is seriously not something this website needs.
      • TV Tropes are not Moral Guardians.
      • While I am the author of Erika's original story and am staunchly biased toward having this page remain, I feel I should point out, all the posts on this Discussion section for having Erika removed from TV Tropes are all coming from one person. This fellow with the 122 IP address, it would seem, is the only person who feels we should "disapprove" of Erika enough to delete her page. I'm sure he's a very nice man, and he appears to be defending the honor of this fair website, but I hardly think he speaks for all tropers everywhere.
      • Well, (and this is pretty irrelevant, I know) I'm actually female. Secondly, the first two posters aren't me. I don't know if they even care about this any more, but I didn't single-handedly start this. I actually wouldn't have bothered if other people hadn't spoken up. Thirdly, I apologize for putting your comic down; it was something of a knee jerk reaction, and not very rational. I'm going to back away from this whole debate. If this series has a big enough fan-base to wind up on here, then I guess it deserves to stay.
      • Even if you say you're not rational, you seem very nice. Thank you. ^^
