Americans (especially women, but by extension the guys seem pretty wary of it too) have for the word? It seems to be because it has sexist overtones over there that it just doesn't have across the pond, and it must be considered more graphically sexual as well.
: Eh. We've just run all of our other swear words into the ground. It's nice to have one that still packs some kind of punch.
: I see the distinction's been worked into the description. What about splitting the examples? It's quite a lot of Values Dissonance
for a British troper seeing some of the reactions to American examples.
