From YKTTW Working Title: Big Bra To Fill

Martello: Isn't the page picture a little creepy? I like this trope, because I've been complaining about it for years. Yeah, I'm breast-obsessed - Most Common Super Power is kind of my pet page, for example. But despite all that, I'm pretty sure that the example on the left is from one of those horrid Poser-based CGI pornos, which I find pretty disturbing. The position of her arms and the open mouth tells me it's probably one of those awful rape fantasy jobs. I'll see if I can figure something better out when I get home from work.

  • Agreed, but the page does need a pic.

Loser Takes All: Don't really know how to add a picture (or feel comfortable doing it until I have all the rules down) but this seems like a perfect pic for the page to me. With a caption saying something like "Yeah, that's about the same."

Kilyle: As pointed out in Schlock Mercenary with the introduction of the female doctor, this could be a sort of Literary Agent Hypothesis. That is, these characters exist; their stories are "real"; but when they transfer to the comic or cartoon world, the characters get altered, and one of the common alterations is to give them Barbie-sized boobs. Hence, the transfer to a live-action medium isn't failing to portray the "real" character so much as failing to embellish as much as the original format did.

This theory could take as evidence the fact that Most Common Super Power exists at all, and that we (almost uniformly) see no evidence than any female in the comic world  *

is any less busty, unless they're around to make the hero seem bustier by comparison, and even then, they're not usually anywhere near a B cup. The sheer disparity between cup size distributions in the comic world and in Real Life indicates that some sort of statistical shift is going on.

Anyway, I'd like to put some note to this effect on the main page, but I'm not sure how best to put it, so if someone could confirm this theory and make a pithy version of it for the main page, I'd appreciate it.
