Silent Hunter: I have to query the Mac Gyver example. I believe they were just criminals who stole a boat to find some treasure.
Foxley: I'll need to rewatch the episode to confirm, but all of the episode summaries I can find list the villains as pirates who hijack the treasure hunter's boat.
Mr Initial Man: Should we make a note that many in the Golden Age of Piracy could be just as monstrous as the modern lot?
