Tragic The Dragon: And that's when I hit the last of the First season DV Ds. Whew!
Lale: Cutting tropes that actually apply for the sake of a shorter list... kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? How about leaving the items but moving all the description to the tropes' pages? That would make the lists more streamlined like you want; I mean, does the page really look any neater now?
Lale: But this isn't the only show that does that. I would assume the idea is that you click on the trope link, and a more in-depth description will be on the trope's page under Examples.
Kilyle: There is no need to cut tropes unless they don't apply. If I come across My Little Pony and want to learn about other shows like it, I'm certainly going to want Talking Animals to be up there, along with Gang Of Critters and so forth. But once a list gets to a length that makes it hard to digest, we just organize it better - stick the character tropes in one spot and the plots in another spot and so forth - and it looks like the page is heading that direction already, so no worries.
Kilyle: I gotta say, I never expected this level of attention to the number of tropes found in... well... My Little Pony. I recall loving them as a kid, but when I got Escape from Katrina to view as an adult, I couldn't even finish it. So kudos to whoever stuck with it long enough to get all these tropes and put 'em up.
- Lale: That is one of the two movies that are Off-Model compared to the rest of the series.
- sun tzu: Honestly, Escape from Katrina is less good than much of the series. Try The Return of Tambelon, which is arguably its high point.
