Paul A: Why is this not just a redirect to New Gods?
JBK 405: I can't speak to why it wasn't a redirect before, but I created it as a separate article earlier today because though Darkseid is part of the New Gods, there are parts of Darkseid unique to his character, and parts of the New Gods as a whole that are independent from Darkseid. Darkseid has been adapted into some media where the other New Gods weren't, has his own unique personality and history, etc. Similar, in a way, to how we have The DCU but also have individual Superman and Batman articles, as well as articles for specific stories (Such as the various crisis stories).
