It could be based on the Master Cycle Zero. (Which is technically a Divine Beast) A horse is a pretty good fit for Zelda, too.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The Hylian Champion's Divine Beast would logically be modelled on the ancient Hylian Sage's mask.
I’m still bummed that Nintendo didn’t give us a photo mode like so many open world games.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Just beat TOTK after clearing most of the major content. The game was an absolute masterpiece and better in almost every way from the already phenomenal Breath of the Wild. Even if Baldur's Gate 3 was technically better, I think TOTK will still be my game of 2024.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?Is it ever explained how Ganon and Ganondorf managed to co-exist at the same time?
Since we fought Ganon in BOTW and we're fighting Ganondorf here.
For the record, I just got the 5th Sage.

IDK, I just assumed that Calamity Ganon was made from Ganondorf's anger. Twice. And then Ganondorf got his turn to live a few years later.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Ganon in BOTW was a physical manifestation of pure hatred and malice. As I understand it Calamity Ganon wasn't even a controlled avatar deliberately created by Ganondorf, the way Phantom Ganon is (Ganondorf's power over shadow was, at the time, being bound and counterbalanced by Rauru's power over light), rather Ganondorf's hatred of Hyrule grew so strong over is thousands of years of imprisonment that it took on a life of it's own.
The only explanation in-game is Impa stating that the Calamity was "The Demon King of old reborn as hatred made manifest", but honestly I find the relationship pretty intuitive.
Nintendo hasn’t been known for keeping lore consistency with their games.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. That is a true statement but not really relevant to the Calamity Ganon/Ganondorf connection. The idea that Calamity Ganon's nature as a manifestation of hatred means it can exist separately from Ganondorf's physically body is such a natural conclusion that it doesn't need a more detailed explanation. It's an assumption I've been operating under since 2019 and by all indications that assumption was correct.
Currently I've saved the Hebra and Eldin regions, now I'm off to the Gerudo region.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.I like how the dungeons are spread out that there are two in the sky, two on the surface (technically) and three in the depths.
Wind and water in the sky, lighting and Hyrule Castle on the surface, Fire, Spirt, and Path to Ganondorf in the depths.

I wondered what that thing Purah was always holding was, now I wonder if it's a vape pen.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. That raises the question of it's THC or nicotine.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? It's a recorder. As in, the woodwind instrument.
Now, why she carries a recorder around, I have no idea.
It's a vape disguised as a recorder that can still play music.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?I decided I like Watching let'splays not playing but I'm missing out on finding the outfits and picking out the color I like for them.
Does anybody have images of the outfits in different dies?
So hold up? Is the Entire stking franchise a Bootstrap paradox?
As in our Princess Zelda, from the end of the timeline, having always been part of the history of the Imprisoning War, at the beginning of the timeline? I believe so, yes.
So how many full heart containers can I get (like from defeating the story bosses?
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Only one full heart container, if I recall. And the complimentary full health refill, of course.
Tears of the Kingdom's programming team (specifically Technical Director Takuhiro Dohta, Sound Programmer Junya Osada, and Physics Programmer Takahiro Takayama) did a presentation at GDC today, going in-depth on the physics and sound development for Tears of the Kingdom. At the moment the only people who have seen this presentation were the in person attendants of the conference, but hopefully the GDC Youtube channel will upload a recording, like they did for the Breath of the Wild presentation back in 2017.
In the meantime I'm scrounging for photos of the presentation, because I just like knowing more about this game, even minor details. Behold, early versions of the Big Wheel Zonai Device:
Tears of the Kingdom won the Innovation Award and Best Technology at the Game Developers Choice Awards.
@Shyhero no it only effects pre-BOTW to TOTK, not the entire series.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIME
Zelda should have had an animal mask like the other ancient sages. Not only is it weird that she's the only sage without one, but if she had been wearing it in the flashbacks with the other sages it would have made more sense that the modern day sages don't immediately conclude that the Sage of Time is Zelda.
