The notice for 2.2's main story update says certain characters who already have visitor verification won't have messages/Express visits after completing the new story. so something probably happens to Misha then?

On the one hand, it would make perfect sense if it is true that he's the Clockmaker. On the other that being true would mean that even if Gallagher is actually thirteen and Misha is Older Than He Looks, Gallagher's obsession with him is still gonna look weird as hell.

Misha is literally the only one in Penacony that has visited the train. So unless they are killing off Jing Yuan, who was in the trailer, he's the only one it could be. None of the crew 'visit', no one from Belobog are expected to be there... I would say the same for the Xianzhou but Jing Yuan was in the trailer.

They really spoiled that by lack of options.

If they said messages or express visits, it would most likely be Gallagher. For obvious reasons. Because he can send one text message, but if you pull him after the reveal...

Jing Yuan's appearance makes a bit of sense since the crew got a jade abacus to call his help at the end of the Luofu main story and the Xianzhou has starskiff tech, while Jarilo-VI has only recently started rebuilding with the Engine of Creation and thus doesn't have their own capacity to travel the space yet

I'd be pretty surprised if Jing Yuan showed up for anything more than a cameo. The Luofu has a different writer than Penacony, and they tend not to share characters much

Do we know if the Watchmaker sent invitations to the Xianzhou or not? That could also explain Jing Yuan's appearance.

The Hunt is represented by the Galaxy Rangers and no other Path had two factions invited.

So, since we are nearly on to Day P, what relics are you going to farm for Robin? I think she could benefit from the Guard and Penacony sets but I could be wrong.

You only want to stack ATK with her, you don't even need speed boots, 120 SPD is enough to ensure she gets a second action during the first wave meaning you need 13 speed substats and the rest ATK% and defensive stats, with an ERR rope.

Her best set in theory would be the physical set assuming you can get 100% uptime on the bonus but that's unrealistic, double 12% ATK sets performs only slightly below but constant.

For planar sets, one of the 5% ERR sets shave off ~2 attacks needed to fuel her ult, but Von Waqc does nothing for her since she already has a trace with that effect and Penacony only benefits physical characters. Space Sealing Station gives ehr the biggest personal ATK bonus while Fleet of the Ageless gives her whole team some ATK + some extra HP for survival.

Alright, her optimal set would be the Boxing set while the generalist/workhorse one would be two Musketeers and two Prisoners, got it.

I guess the choice between Fleet and Space Station depends on whether you want her to be a full support or a hybrid support respectively.

Finished all the swarm disaster missions except the hunt. I didn't think I'd be able to finish world 5 three whole times but Aventurine actually made the whole experience much easier as my main shielder

They should really just let Boothill say fuck.

Ok. Two things.

One, Robin obtained, previous visit of Himeko. I hope I can restore my funds to guarantee Firefly soon.

Two, goddamn it, I didn't expect to see "Nah I'd win" in the story. Someone give the writers a raise.

Most amusing reveal thus far is Blade has a driving license but also will drive completely sleep deprived.

I was ready to hate on the Moment of Scorchsand suddenly mandating talent show shenanigans but honestly Firefly's utter disinterest and Argenti out of nowhere won me over.

I think this is the first time we've just been directly thrown into the story?

Three towns in the main story! Didn't think that was allowed

Argenti feels significantly easier than I remember, though that might just be down to having Ruan Mei now

I think they could dial back on the wordiness, but the gameplay is all very solid

We still have two major plot hooks to resolve: the cliffhanger the story ends on, and whatever Sparkle is up to

Super Break causes your attacks to deal Break DMG against already broken targets in relation to the toughness dmg the attack would've dealt. The exact formula is: (Break Base DMG)*(Attack's Toughness Reduction)*(1+ Break Effect)*(Trace#1 Boost).

I haven't played the story yet so I don't know what teammates the story gives one for that fight but right now the only units who really benefit from HMC are Boothill or Luka.

HMC is specifically there to enable the Break Effect archetype by allowing Break characters to continue to deal high dmg after the targets are already broken.

For that they have their ult which enables Super Break, teamwide BE buffs also from their ult + E4 + the BE support set they can keep 100% uptime on, a multihit skill which shreads toughness (4*30, one trace adds another 30 to the first hit, and E6 adds 2 more hits for a total of 210 toughness dmg) and lastly a trace which adds the base 20% action delay of Imaginary breaks when a teammate breaks a target instead, widening the break time.

Naturally Ruan Mei heavily compliments them with her teamwide 20 BE and 50% Break Efficiency buff and her Plum Blossom mechanic additionally delaying turns by 50%.

Wait, Luka? You're sure you don't mean Xueyi?

Xueyi also works but right now her encouraged build is a mixture of BE and Crit, if one would build her pure BE she would work better with HMC. Basically to work with HMC a unit needs both high toughness dmg and high BE numbers.

Boothill as the first true 5* Break Effect Character converts BE to Crit values and from her Beta kit Firefly gets obscene amount of DEF penetration for meeting BE break points and converts ATK to BE.

...That still doesn't explain why you're suggesting Luka, though? He's a DoT character

Luka can also be build for BE since his Break Do T scales off BE and his enhanced attacks break reasonably well so that he can have both his regular ATK Do T and his BE Do T up at the same time.

The funny thing is that she does perk up a bit when you pick up the Hanu Bazooka. Also yeah, Argenti out of nowhere is a treat, you can tell the writers have been following the memes.

The guy literally forces you in alternate reality where everything ends happily ever after for everyone, and you need an outside influence to pull you to reality and reject his world vision. It's basically Space Persona 5 Royal.

There's a rules edit that says that Physical and Fire characters deal more Break Dmg. So, all Physical or Fire characters will benefit from that status, and obviously there will be Firefly on the list in the next patch.

Xueyi loses half of her kit's utility by focusing on broken enemies, since you don't charge his follow-ups. She can deal damage but she's much better at attacking unbroken enemies.

She does benefit from Harmony TB's Ruan Mei-like buff on its Ultimate though. Depending on the path, Harmony TB might become something of an optimal unit to clear Swarm Disaster since all bugs are weak to Imaginary and s/he'll help other units breaking them too.

Edit: I got Topaz at pity 78 today, and she greatly helped me get my 12th star on Pure Fiction (my score in part 1 went from 15k to 24k). She is going to be so much fun to play alongside Aventurine and Ratio, and she is far from being fully built yet. And I get the feeling I'm going to enjoy Elation in the Simulated Universe a lot (Aventurine alone almost made it viable, but now...).
