As they say your show ain’t popular till your fans start sending death threats towards you.
Words to live by really, truly fucked up words, but words nonetheless.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I've got the hype. Gimme the good Western cartoon. Good thing I don't tumble any more.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Ehasz gives out some more show info - Namely, the two princes are named Callum and Ezran, and they’re brothers.
Okay so their from the same kingdom.
And apparently the younger brother is the crowned prince.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Brothers, huh? Good. That means no love triangle and hopefully no crazy shippers.
Be real, you know that's not going to stop the shippers.
Uh there's still gonna be that weather you like it or not. :p
35 year old white man.I just hope that the writing quality is similar to Voltron and Avatar.
I know there will be shippers. I'm just hoping they're more tame than the Klance shippers.
Ah, you mean the people who nearly got the show cancelled for leaking classified stuff from a studio tour?
In no way does that mean no love triangle. They can still both like the same person. That just makes it worse since it's two siblings fighting, and the one I'd prefer to "win" absolutely won't because that's how it always happens especially in Princess Jellyfish. Also the the A:TLA/LOK staff are not especially good at writing romance especially when it comes to love triangles, so yeah, hopefully not.
You say "and," but I'm hoping it's more on the A:TLA side of things. Not that Voltron's bad, but I gave it 2 seasons and it didn't captivate me. Of course, something as simple as a different setting might help.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I think it's safe to even hope for Korra level quality. LOK at its best was great. Although, I hope that the character development is handled better than it was in LOK.
Legend of Korra had great character development. In season 4.
If The Dragon Prince can be as good as the second half of LOK...that would be pretty incredible.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Hopefully the villains are good.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I hope they aren't boringly invincible, too. Stakes are important, but when Only the Author Can Save Them Now happens enough it feels like I have to wait until the season finale for any sort of progress to be made.
Trailer:
Seems really choppy in a not-good way. Unless that was just the video.
This song needs more love. The animation and character designs reminds me of Web Animation/RWBY

It is super choppy! Like, impressively bad CG animation! At least the character designs aren't hideous though.
Thing about Netflix, no time for speculah between episodes. Hope it's good.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Very choppy indeed. A pity, I like the visuals themselves.

Yeah, the framerate is rather eeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.
I mean, hopefully this is some sort of early-concept thing and the framerate will get better soon? But the framerate is definitely eh.
I can't put my finger on what this style reminds me of besides something like sky whatever it was called
MIAI noticed it was mainly choppy outside of action scenes. So they might be cutting corners to make the action better, like old 90's early 2000's anime. Or well, early RWBY.
Tumblr’s already salivating towards this series like dogs towards a steak, it’s not going to be long before the Discourse begins.
