I am going to miss that guy.....
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name. They actually posted a letter clarifying all this:
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.
Has anyone read the newspaper comic stories that were in The Sun newspaper staring Wallace and Gromit? The time travelling story. The mystery disappearance of cheese makers

"May your heart be your guiding key"Apparently the film is still untitled, but involves Wallace inventing a "smart gnome" that gains a mind of its own.
I think I still have the hardback release of those stories.

I didn't think they were going to make a new movie for Wallace and Gromit, especially since Peter Sallis, who voiced Wallace, had passed away years ago.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!My guess is that either:
- 1. They're gonna use some trick like AI to make Wallace sound like Sallis.
- 2. They're gonna use Ben Whitehead, who has been a standin for Sallis for lots of commericals and video games, and has gotten increasingly good at replicating him.

I admit the first one is unlikely. I only speculated it as a possiblity since some works have been utilising it (eg. Obi Wan used it for Darth Vader since James Earl Jones is allegedly too aged for the voice anymore).
Ben Whitehead seems the likely option at this point, especially with how much side media he's voiced Wallace in now and how accurate he is to the original voice for the large part.
Apparently Shaun the Sheep is also getting a seventh season next year. Ironic since both series released a "Complete Collection" Blu Ray just a few months back.
I've heard claims all the new projects were partially down to the Shaun Xmas special doing so well. If so it's kinda cute that Shaun gave Wallace and Gromit a big boost twice in their career.

@neoamon Gonna reply to ya again, since I just recently discovered that they actually made audiobooks for all those graphic novels, complete with Peter Sallis as Wallace:
Thinking about it, if they still worried about the voices, making an Animated Adaptation of these using this footage would be a clever way around it.

Rest In Peace, Sallis.
