Even if I hadn't sworn off voting for Frye, her team is not the one I'd choose for this Splatfest anyway. So it doesn't make much of a difference I guess

What's gonna happen is Save the World gets either the popularity vote or the Sneak Peek, or possibly both, Same ol' wins Open, and Save the World takes Tricolor.

Aside from the 33333rd post, I 'd like to ask you, What are your kit predictions for Sizzle Season 2024?

My choices are:

• Custom Range Blaster with Splat Bomb and Kraken Royale

• Bamboozler 14 MK II with Toxic Mist and Tenta Missiles

• Custom Hydra Splatling with Ink Mine and Big Bubbler

• Edit Splatling Nouveau with Torpedo and Crab Tank

• Custom Douser Dualies FF with Fizzy Bomb and Kraken Royale

• Recycled Brella 24 MK II with Burst Bomb and Tacticooler

They're for the weapons that have not got 2nd kits yet.

Probably some Sheldon picks as a "Vol. 1". If we get a "Drizzle Season 2024", more Sheldon picks like a "Vol. 2".

Wonder if a third Splattershot kit would be it's first kit from Splatoon 2? Currently we don't have a shooter weapon with Triple Splash.

Aerospray PG would be it's Splatoon 1 kit with the Kraken, especially since Booyah Bomb from it's Splatoon 2 kit was on the RG.

Sad that the Fizzy Cooler combo was used on Tri-Slosher's second kit, since it probably would have made a lot of sense to put on Soda Slosher. Probably could just be Burstzooka.

Should N-Zap 83 take after it's Splatoon 1 or 2 kits or be a mashup of a sub and special from both versions, like Sprinkler Kraken, or just a new kit entirely?

Sploosh 7 could take after it's kit from Splatoon 1.

PG is the 3rd kit. RG is the 2nd kit for Aerospray.

do you guys think Sizzle Season 2024 will be the last S3 season with new updates? because i don't think it is.

I think they'll keep making seasons until the successor to the Switch and/or the next Splatoon game (if there will be one) is announced.

I was thinking we'd get Drizzle Season as the final new content season.

I'm think next year's fresh season as the last one.

At release they said the update cycle was planned to last two years, so I'm fairly certain FinalFest will be in early September, though I could be wrong. As far as catalogs go, that's less certain. They do seem like they'd be easy to automate (just restart the catalog cycle from the beginning)

There's an issue with that as the third stringer and splatana or kits for every weapon have yet to be released.

I'm still learning new things about this game! Mr. Grizz has unique dialogue for getting an especially high score in Salmon Run

Speaking of which, there's an Eggstra Work coming up on the 10th or thereabouts

so, with the Switch 2 announced to be revealed sometime within the next fiscal year, what hopes do we have for Splatoon 4 and the end of Splatoon 3's life cycle?

will Splatoon 3 continue to get updates and there won't immediately be a Splatoon on the next console, since we can probably just play 3 on the new one? or will they make a brand new Splatoon immediately for the Switch 2?

considering the Switch 2 is only going to be announced within the next fiscal year, i'm guessing the successor is going to be released in 2026, so Splat 3 is probably getting a content exxtension, but that's just what i think =/

If we were going to get a content extension, wouldn't we have heard about one by now?

there's is a direct next month so that's when I feel the news will hit.

again we don't have the 3rd bow and sword or 3rd kits for the weapons.

Splatoon 4 is definitely happening, but I don't want it to happen immediately. Splatoon 3 was reeeeaaally lacking when it came out, in many ways, and my number one concern is that Splatoon 4 will be similarly disappointing if they rush it out just to have another launch title

my number two concern is that we JUST got the lesbians back and I would do anything to never feel the emotions Splatoon 3's first actual year made me feel again. even at the time they were Splatoon's best-written characters, and the Squid Sisters and Deep Cut weren't putting on a strong showing. it really felt like i had lost people who were important to me that day (not helped by my actual real-life dad being on his deathbed at the time), and maybe it's just the hyperfixation talking but i genuinely don't know why more people weren't upset. and I'm not going to forgive them for 16 months of fuck-all just because Side Order was good

The DLC will focus on Deep Cut doing a robbery.

That's only if they come back to the next game which I kinda hope they don't alongside everybody else so the next game can have a new crew to have and yes it is purely your hyperfixation.

OK, why do you do this every single time. Like, I'm sorry, but posts like this are why I feel like I can't talk about how most of Splatoon 3 made me feel in this thread anymore

I know I'm not normal dude. You don't need to rub it in. I don't choose to feel this way. Like, honestly asking here, not being rude — do you think my depression is my fault? Did you miss the part where my actual, real-life dad was dying, and Splatoon 3, the newest installment in one of my favorite video game series, was really struggling to give me a reason to smile?

Again, I don't want to come off as harsh or rude. It's just frustrating to see you (and it is you, more often than not) pop up and say "yes you are the only one who has ever felt this way about these characters, you're crazy, deal with it " every single time I try to talk about how this game has genuinely made me feel. It makes me feel kind of othered. I don't like feeling othered. I've been othered enough
