Was curious if anyone saw the Quiet On Set documentary.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationI have. I knew that Dan Schneider was weird and creepy towards his child actors, but I didn't know it went back all the way to All That. The Reveal that Brian Peck was friends with John Wayne Gacy made me jump. I can't wait to see Drake Bell tear that guy a new one in the third episode (I haven't watched it yet).
We are the best friends, we stand as one. Whatever life may bring, we are never alone.I haven't seen it, but I read about it, and I feel sick thinking about everything that happened. :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland is a retro-style Rugrats video game coming out soon, including for an actual NES.

The Protomen enhanced my life. The Casagrandes Movie is out today.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Bumping to let everyone know I made a thread for Series.Quiet On Set.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I didn't even know that The Casagrandes Movie had a movie.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!A movie based on a movie? My achin' head hurts.
Anyway, I'm wondering how the revelations in Quiet on Set will affect Nick in the long run. Doing damage control in the trades won't stop the bleeding.
Fear it... or not.I mean, I'm pretty sure a lot of this is not new information; Dan Schnieder was already well-known to have been a creep before this show came out.
(I haven't actually seen the documentary, so I don't know if there are any huge revelations made by it other than Drake Bell being molested)

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonSo would Quiet on Set be what it led up to?
Isn't all of these revelations just going to hurt the live action side of Nickelodeon?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Thankfully the animated side, other than the infamous Chris Savino, has not been affected, and Nick is still the no 1 network for kids.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. It's horrible on what happened with the kids with the live action shows.

I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!Don't forget John K.!
Looks like we're getting a fifth episode. It just gets better and better...
Fear it... or not.Wait, was John K not actually part of the doc???
Huh. I figured, for a documentary about sexual predators working at Nick, he'd definitely be part of that, but apparently he's not? That seems odd.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonHe was not because, for one thing, he never actually worked at Nick proper - they contracted Spumco to make the show at first, then when John got fired, they moved production to Games Animation, under Nick's direct ownership - and he didn't start pursuing underage girls until after he got fired. He was never involved with any of the things in the documentary. The facts are the facts, and with something this serious, the facts are important to get right.
Somebody made a documentary about Ren and Stimpy that touches on this, but it's not very good, so I would advise you to miss it.
I assume they won't be having Marc Summers on again after he said the documentarians bait-and-switched him about what they were interviewing him for, and then lied that they weren't going to put him in the documentary?

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Where did you read that about Marc Summers? I can't find that anywhere.
What did Summers say in the docu-series?
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationHe said it on his Twitter. Evidence here and here.
They had him on, apparently, just to react to a clip, even though he wasn't actually there when all this was going on at Nick...

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Sharing an article from Deadline regarding the removal of several Nick shows, including the Rugrats reboot, from Paramount Plus.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Worryingly, none of the shows are controversial ones but more innocent fare like Blues clues and Rugrats...
The list includes Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Blue’s Clues & You!, It’s Pony, Middlemost Post, Ollie’s Pack, Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, Santiago of the Seas, That Girl Lay Lay as well as the made-for-Paramount+ Big Nate and Rugrats (2021).
Those three I bolded are specially infuriating because at one point they had TERRIFIC LINEAR RATINGS but got cancelled anyway. There may not have been as good as Infinity Train but they ARE sharing its sad final fate.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.First HBO Max has a bunch of cartoons pulled from its service, now Paramount Plus. Could Disney+ be far behind?
And this is why pirating is so hugely popular.
The most ironic part is that in the same article they mention these shows are mega successful in streaming and are their most popular. The only way I would understand and forgive this is if they share these with NETFLIX.

They are still on digital storefronts, thankfully.

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. Were any of these shows cancelled, like the Rugrats reboot?
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!
Oh. Yeah the animation can be an bit rough at times I’ll admit.
