Two thing happened to her:first she was hired to do the voices of P&M on a porn game, second she open up a can of worms with her personal headcanon that goes against that part of XBC 3 ending which some did not take kindly too and she defended it as her being the voices of P&M so she knows better than others while calling it a "business decision".

When was the porn game done? If it was done after Pyra and Mytgra's inclusion in Smash, I could see it not affecting their inclusion if they come back.

Not expecting them to.

The porn game died when Skye realized what it was and left, because of that the dev went on Twitter to make an ass of himself and I think it was after smash but I don't know for sure.

I'm baffled as to how she even got involved with a Porn game. Clearly, she was not doing enough research about what she was getting into.

Anyway, I finally finished Chapter 3.

I swear, this game chooses the craziest places to end chapters.

Chapter 2 ended right in the middle of an insane fight, with Rex pulling a Big Damn Heroes out of nowhere, and now Chapter 3 ends with Na'el finally appearing while (seemingly) possessed.

I think it was her agent that did the fumble.

By all appearances, the porn devs were not being upfront about the whole thing, so lets not cast blame on someone who almost got roped into something she'd very much prefer not to. Likewise, while I disagree with her headcanon, she's absolutely entitled to her opinion. Especially since she's ace herself, so I'm not going to blame her for projecting a little bit onto a character she voiced.

I do hope she comes back to voice them, but then again there's no guarantee they're coming back at all. Either way, I don't think this had anything to do with her not voicing Glimmer.

Anyway, the moral of this story is that Twitter has always been horrible, and hopefully it finishes dying soon-ish.

This is all secondhand, so I might be remembering some things wrong:

• I think what happened with the game is that the devs weren't upfront about the nature of the game, and she backed out of it when the instructions were basically "Use your Pyra/Mythra voice" and all of the dialogue was sexual in nature. Understandably, that put her off of voice acting.

• As far as the headcanon bit goes, I think part of the kerfuffle wasn't just that her personal headcanon diverged from canon but that 1. she was attempting to invoke Word of St. Paul on it and 2. the way she phrased it (which I forget exactly) implied that she believes it was done purely for "wish fulfillment harem" purposes and wasn't a valid interpretation of the characters, which rubbed some people the wrong way.

I agree that she's perfectly entitled to her opinion, but I also don't think that being the VA for the characters means that her interpretation has any more merit than anyone else's.

I say you got it.

In regards to character appearances and ages, another possibility is that first term isn't always exactly 10 years old, but more like 10 +/- 2.

Everyone in the game world only cares about terms, and has no context for differences in 'age' between first termers.

That would explain why some characters seem a bit older than 19 or 20. I admit, I kinda figured the same thing.

I think that the terms are set to a hard 10, but the kids can come out of the pods with slight variances in their development, in addition to natural differences in maturity at a given age.

There's also stress levels, sleep, make up, and genetics.

It is a bit silly at times. Like, there's no way Teach is only 19.

Ethel, Cammuravi, Teach, Isurd, and Ashera are grown-ass men and women in their late 20s and early 30s. You can't convince me they're 19, game.

Sometimes I do wish the nature of terms made it seem that the ten terms covered more than 10 years, or the term lifespan was twenty terms.

It should be noted that there are a number of people who hit puberty hard and look like adults almost immediately after starting it.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the constant rebirth and Mobius have something to do with some soldiers looking older than they are.

Teach might be somehow older than he should be considering his Ascension quest.

I knew a guy who was over 6 ft tall and growing facial hair in the 5th grade. Some people just hit it early.

On the subject of ages, I wonder how Triton and Consul K got to be so old?

With the exception of S, X, Y, and Z, the Moebius are sourced from Keves and Agnus soldiers who show interesting enough potential to get "promoted" after they die. But those soldiers don't live past 19, so they'd be at most 19 when offered the promotion.

But once you're a Moebius, you're immortal and stop aging, right? So how did T and K age from 19 to geezer? Dirk's also clearly on the older side, too, and we know he looked younger as an Agnus soldier.

It's not impossible that they could've originated from past iterations of the city. Either that or they don't truly stop aging, it's just a lot slower.

Ooof. If Triton came from the city, that makes his joining Moebius even worse.

Though it also makes them accepting him kinda heartwarming.

We'll probably never know, since Triton's memory is clearly mush. I'd be impressed if he even remembers how or why he became Moebius.

I'm well into Chapter 4 now. Just doing all the side quests I can find and trying to fill out charts and kill monsters.

M and N look basically the same as they did as soldiers, just with longer hair, and they've been Consuls for a loooooong time

The ultimate irony would be if Triton became Moebius in the first place because he realized he was starting to get senile and figured if he became immortal he wouldn't have to lose his mind. Then Z made him immortal... without fixing the senility issue, because Z is a dick.

There's something that always bugged me about Z's whole, "It's because it amuses me," excuse. So, Z is a physical manifestation of people's desire for things to stay the same. In essence, he's biologically a Flat Character, where a lack of emotions is "part and parcel of [his] being. So, if that's the case, how can he derive amusement from anything, let alone making two factions fight in a Forever War where nobody truly wins, and isn't meant to last because of Annihilation Events?

I always saw that as an indication of the fact that the position that Z is a manifestation of is fundamentally flawed. He's an incarnation of the desire for an unchanging existence, except that in reality that desire is both impossible (without literally freezing everything, something is going to change) and ultimately not really desirable (if you really did get caught in an unchanging situation it would become unbearable very quickly). As a result, Z reflects both those things. The annihilation events means that while the war can be perpetuated indefinitely, the world itself will eventually become unable to sustain the conflict and something else will happen. Likewise, he can go on endlessly about how he wants an Endless Now, but when it comes down to it he fudges things so that he can personally play around with others to assuage his boredom. It shows that the desire for the Endless Now is untenable in both a literal sense (such a situation can't really be maintained indefinitely) and psychological sense (anyone who's actually in such a situation will get bored and start changing things anyway).
