Describe Anicomicgeek here?
Okay, very well, then. I like animation (both anime and Western animation), comics and manga, sci-fi movies, action movies. Hobbies include playing video games and partaking in Fan Art and Fan Fics. You can see my art here and my fancasts can be seen there or here.
Tropes that describe this troper:
- Apologises a Lot: Something that annoys my dad sometimes.
- Asperger Syndrome: I have this. A mild case, but I have it.
- Atlanta: Sort of—I was born in an Atlanta hospital and have some family there, but I myself (and in fact, a good deal of other family members) live in the greater Metropolitan Atlanta area, not the city itself.
- Author Appeal:
- I like Action Girls, Back-to-Back Badasses, Badass Back, No Holds Barred fights (not sorely beatdowns, but just the idea of a lot of people in a fight going at each other with everything they've got, beating each other bloody), and actually a lot of Fight scene tropes.
- Also a lot of my fics kinda lean towards Dark Fic—not necessarily uber-dark, but, like sometimes, if something is PG or Y7, I tend to do PG-13/T/TV-14-esque fics and sometimes R/M/TV-MA—and have a penchant for Nightmare Fuel in some cases.
- Two of the fanfic ideas-turned fancasts I did feature Batman, Spider-Man, Birdy Cephon Altera, and RoboCop as main characters.
- Berserk Button:
- I don't have a good sense of humor about myself as a person. I do have one about my interests, but not about me personally. I believe this has to do with being picked on when I was in school. That said, my Asperger Syndrome is still a very big one.
- As a comic book fan, and more specifically a DC and Marvel fan, it's probably safe to assume that quite a few stories since 2004 have angered me.
- Similarly, as a fan of Ben 10, like many people, I wasn't a fan of the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien era.
- I'm also not a fan of a... certain incident involving a certain guest character of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
- Bile Fascination: Despite hating them and their effects, I did fancasts for Ultimate Power, The Ultimates 3, Ultimatum, and All-Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder.
- Continuity Lockout: For anyone who cites this regarding comic book, I present myself as aversion. I picked up one of my first comics during one of Tim Drake's miniseries before he got his own title. Other first DC Comics included Knightfall (more specific Knightquest) and one of the issues of Superman after "The Fall of Metropolis". One of my first Marvel Comics was during the The Clone Saga. So yeah, Tim Drake being Robin, Jean Paul Valley being in the Batsuit, Superman being engaged to Lois Lane and sporting a mullet, Metropolis being in ruins, the fact that Aunt May was "dead", Peter and Mary Jane being married (see that, Quesada?) didn't turn me away from comics. What ultimately did, however, is general contempt for stuff that's been published since Dan DiDio and Joe Quesada became the bosses of DC and Marvel respectively.
- Curtains Match the Window: I have brown hair and eyes.
- DeviantArt/FanFiction.Net/Tumblr: I post at all three sites, using the same alias I use here.
- Fanon Discontinuity:
- When this comes to DC Comics, I prefer to forget about things like Identity Crisis (2004), Batman: War Games, Infinite Crisis, Countdown to Final Crisis, Amazons Attack!, what's been done with Captain Marvel, aspects of Blackest Night and Brightest Day, Justice League: Cry for Justice, Flashpoint, Death of the Family and generally, the New 52.
- Regarding Marvel Comics, I gladly like to pretend that New X-Men, Avengers Disassembled, House of M, Civil War (2006), One More Day/Brand New Day/One Moment in Time, Reginald Hudlin's run on Black Panther, Avengers vs. X-Men, Superior Spider-Man (2013), Spider-Verse, and Secret Wars (2015) didn't happen.
- I also generally like to disregard many aspects of the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien era of Ben 10.
- Gateway Series: Like a lot of people my age, the Batman Film Series, the DC Animated Universe, and the '90s Marvel cartoons, along with tapes on the older Marvel cartoons and reruns of Batman (1966) and Super Friends, served as this for me for DC and Marvel. The Trendmasters toys, the hype for Godzilla (1998), and both Godzilla: The Series and reruns of The Godzilla Power Hour also served as this for the Godzilla franchise.
- Geek: It's in my handle.
- Hates Being Touched: Part of having Asperger's.
- Hypocrisy Nod:
- I agree with the sentiment "Don't stick your dick in crazy." As noted below, I also have a crush on the title character of Birdy the Mighty, the hotheaded and reckless Birdy Cephon Altera. Additionally, I filled out a harem meme and included not just Birdy, but the equally hotheaded Priss Asagiri from the Bubblegum Crisis OVA series and Mistao Katsuragi.
- I hate how Hank Pym can't seem to live down that incident with Janet. My mind also once thought of the term "Pym slap".
- Hypothetical Casting: Another hobby of mine. Most frequently actors "cast" are Fred Tatasciore, Steve Blum, Grey DeLisle-Griffin, Troy Baker, John DiMaggio, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kari Wahlgren, Tara Strong, Jennifer Hale, and Phil LaMarr.
- Most Fanfic Writers Are Fans: Yes, I am, as I do fics based on stuff I like.
- Most Fanfic Writers Are Girls: Subverted. I'm a guy and I don't write romantic fics, but tend to lean more towards action/adventure stories and even then, I lean towards canonical pairings.
- The '90s: Spent most of my childhood in the '90s.
- Not So Above It All/Only Sane Man: I sometimes feel like the Only Sane Man—mostly when I go to message boards and see Fan Dumb/Hatedom in action. Most of the time, I'm mostly Not So Above It All as I have my own little quirks.
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: And I don't like it!
- Older Than They Look: I'm in my late 30s. I've been told I look around ten years younger.
- Perverse Sexual Lust: Nurses a crush on the OVA version of Birdy Cephon Altera, the title character of Birdy the Mighty.
- Proud to Be a Geek: Again, look at my handle.
- Real Men Wear Pink: I am a guy—and I like Sailor Moon, Kim Possible, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, The Golden Girls, Super Best Friends Forever, the Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld shorts, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, and Miraculous Ladybug.
- Self-Deprecation: Subverted. I have no problem making fun of some of the stuff I'm a fan of, but me as a person, as noted is my Berserk Button. But as of late, I'm learning to get over it.
Tropes that describe this troper's art:
- Animesque: A lot of my knowledge on drawing came from how to draw manga books. Additionally, my influences include Joe Madureira, Jeff Matsuda, and Jose Lopez.
- Comic-Book Fantasy Casting: As these three show, I can't do this trope to save my life. The first picture doesn't really look like Thomas Gibson, the second doesn't look like Jim Caviezel (in fact, the person who asked for it said it looked like Daniel Craig instead), and none of the people in the third one look like the people they're supposed to. Now I can add that one of these guys doesn't look like the droog he's supposed to, either.
- Easter Egg: I'm prone to doing this in a lot of the pics I've drawn.
- Fan Art/Fan Fic: I do both.
- Halloween Cosplay: I've dabbled in this from time to time.
- Actor Allusion:
- One of the Halloween Cosplay pic was a request featured Shadowcat as Batgirl. Since this was right about the time some of the casting for Wolverine and the X-Men was revealed, including that Danielle Judovits would voice Shadowcat, I decided to put some of the other X-Men in costume based on past roles of people who've played them—yes, including Professor Xavier as Captain Picard.
- I also did with the OVA version of the title character of Birdy the Mighty dressed as three other characters Kotono Mitsuishi voiced: Christie from Dead or Alive (in her default costume from DOA 4), Sailor Moon, and Mistao Katsuragi. Also before it was debunked and confirmed that Mitsuishi didn't voice her in the dub, I also drew Birdy as Wonder Woman.
- Patchwork Fic: I'm not above crossing over elements from one incarnation into another.
- Actor Allusion:
- Rule 34: My DeviantArt gallery does feature some pics of nude cartoon and anime characters.
- Rule of Cool: Why I draw some elements in my picture: because I think some elements are cool/like the effect, i.e., Batman sporting Shoulders of Doom, Spider-Man sporting his old web-wings, the Hulk having veins bulging out, characters having Oddly Visible Eyebrows, etc.
- Timm Style: I've also had my art described as this a couple of times — and yeah, I can't deny that, either. While I'm trying to break away from complete clones, a lot of my art does use various cartoons, including Timm's stuff, yes, as a starting point.

Fancast projects of this troper
Super X Kaiju:
Super X Kaiju is basically a Massive Multiplayer Crossover Patchwork Fic idea I started in late 2022 to get my mind of certain events in November of that year that ended up ballooning, starting with revisiting an idea for a crossover I've had since I was a kid: The Justice League of America vs. Godzilla.Main Series:
- JLA Vs. Godzilla. Also, while part of the main series, Here it is in JLA (1997) and Heisei/Trendmasters-era flavor.
- Syndicate/Lords War: A prequel story where the League find themselves in a war between the Crime Syndicate and the Justice Lords.
- The Battle for the Hollow Earth
- Escape from Warworld
- Injustice HYDRA
- Power Girl's Story
- Dawn of Mayhem
- Dark World
- The First Year
- First Meetings
- Daredevils
- TMNT Vs. Suicide Squad
- JLA Vs. Megaleg (Yes, it is based on Patton Oswalt's addendum to his KFC Famous Bowls rant, including the two main villains being ones Oswalt played before)
- Superheroes Vs. Kaiju
Not really part of the main series, but experiments for ideas for it:
- A similar idea of the Marvel Universe vs. Godzilla.
- A similar idea involving Transformers, G.I. Joe, and other Hasbro properties meeting Gamera.
X-Men '97-inspired stuff.
Basically what if the other '90s Marvel cartoons got Sequel Series, too — along with characters I'd like to see in speaking parts in X-Men '97 itself. The first four will be will be updated when/if characters appear and/or get official voices and designs.note The last one will have characters deleted if they do end up appearing in speaking roles in X-Men '97.note- Spider-Man '98: Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
- The Incredible Hulk '98: The Incredible Hulk (1996)
- Iron Man '96: Iron Man: The Animated Series
- Fantastic Four '96: Fantastic Four: The Animated Series
- Characters I Want to See in "X-Men '97"
Others:
- An animated adaptation/remake of Alien vs. Predator (Capcom)
- A (somewhat snarky) idea for an animated adaptation of All-Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder.
- An audio play/animated adaptation of Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth in the vein of The Sandman (2020) and Batman: The Audio Adventures (with even Jeffrey Wright for Batman, Brent Spiner as an idea for the Joker, and William Hope as Dr. Destiny)
- A cartoon adaptation of The Avengers that actually fit into the world of the other '90s Marvel cartoons.
- The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes — Enter the Squadron Supreme: Exactly What It Says on the Tin: an idea of if the Supreme Squadron appeared on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
- An idea based on what'd happened if the Super Friends episode "The Fear" did successfully spin off a solo Batman cartoon.
- A version of of the famous Batman (1966)/Godzilla film idea, adapted for Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
- An animated adaptation of the Batman Vampire trilogy.
- A sequel idea to Batman vs. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
- What if Batman: Mask of the Phantasm were made today.
- A new English dub of the Birdy the Mighty OVA series.
- An animated adaptation of Blackest Night.
- A new English dub of the Bubblegum Crisis OVA series and its sequels and prequels.

- Who my best friend and I would cast if we did cartoons based on DC and Marvel.
- Daredevil: Origins: A version of Daredevil's origins that's a fusion of the original origin, Man Without Fear, Daredevil: Yellow, and Ultimate Daredevil & Elektra.
- An animated series based on Trendmasters' Godzilla toyline.
- An idea for a Green Arrow animated series.
- Marvel Knights: Gang War
- An animated version of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
- An animated adaptation of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
- A crossover between the New 52, Ultimate Marvel, and the Amalgam Universe.
- An animated adptation of Onslaught.
- A remake/animated adaptation of The Punisher (Capcom)
- A hypothetical third game in the Spider-Man (2000)/Spider-Man 2 – Enter: Electro series, as well as a Daredevil-based spinoff.
- My own idea of what I'd do with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, initially using the shorts Nick did in 2017, Batman Vs. TMNT, and some of the games as a basis, as well as being very much a Patchwork Fic.
- An idea for a Teen Titans cartoon.
- A trilogy of fancasts based on the trilogy of crap that are Ultimate Power, The Ultimates 3, and Ultimatum.
- An animated adaptation of Watchmen
- Three different era-castings for an animated adaptation or remake of X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse.
