Constellations are among the most attention-grabbing aspects of the night sky. They are depicted as resembling anything from objects to beasts to legendary heroes, and are often identified with the characters of stories and legends. Some may even have been living beings who were turned into stars in the past. With this much symbolism and narrative bound into them, it's not surprising that the animals, monsters and people drawn in the sky may be depicted as active, living beings themselves.
