Brought up in the Explanations thread. I agree that the correlation here isn’t very clear.

A bit dry but it works.

Would we prefer an image to be more "flowers have meanings" or "character associated with flowers that may or may not be symbolic"? The latter may be easier.

I was trying to avoid using a rose-centric image as Something about a Rose is its own thing — same for the other subtropes on the page. Not opposed to swapping Mars out for another of those though, or at least making it a 2x2 so it’s at least “roses and several other flowers”.

8. While 9 is not bad, 8 looks better and it is still clear that there is a motif, as each character is associated with a different flower.

I actually made this one first as yeah I had wanted to avoid roses too:

But then changed to Venus and Mars to go for the Mars/Venus contrast (albiet with 2 girls). Just because I thought the motif would be more obvious.

Also are Venus's flowers orange cosmos? I'll admit that I am not 100% sure.
