My thing out of context it just looks like she is sleeping and not in a coma. Too be fair, maybe it is just because I have never seen the show.

That's why included the first panel to show that she's on a ventilatior otherwise it looks like she's understandably just woken up confused after someone fed her blood in her sleep

Maybe a collage of panel 1,3, and 4 would make it clearer as I missed that due to how dark the panel is.
