Thing-O-Matic
A common way for mad scientists to name machines, devices, and gadgets: take the thing's function and add -O-Matic or inator to the end. These tend to do exactly what they sound like they do. Usually, they won't give any explanation at all how they do what they do, and no matter how outlandish the science, or specific the purpose, they won't be able to do anything else.
Arts and Crafts Episode
The episode about Art, artists, works of art, art exhibitions, and just what is this "art" thing, anyway?
The protagonist(s) take up art classes or an artistic hobby, with everyone around them trying to wrap their heads around what it is they're making. They might go to a museum or a gallery installation and will have differing reactions to what they are seeing, either disgust, confusion, awe or the inspiration to scam the system using cheaply-made kitsch.
