That's the second Season 2 hint alluding to Little Garden specifically. First was the dinosaur with Usopp, now Mr 3.

More fun for Luffy's birthday. Corinne Sudberg (the english dub VA for Young Momonsuke) just yesterday (which for Japan WAS today - time zones) dropped an English Cover of "Uuuuus!"

I fell in love with her covers from Bocchi the Rock, but she's done a few One Piece openings as well, and I think this one's done quite well. I think the vocals are a little shakey, but still fun.

Latest One Piece episode made me realize that the reason Vegapunk fell for Bonney's "turn into a child and pretend to be hurt" gambit was because he knew that was her true form.

Oda just KEEPS FINDING WAYS to twist the knife... And they all keep working.

Oda is a cocky bastard sometimes. Recently, he's taken to Calling His Shot with flashbacks, having characters in-universe react to them in exactly the same way he's expecting us to react to them. We saw this first with the Oden flashback:

Oda KNEW that the Oden flashback would elicit those exact responses. He KNEW.

And then he did it again with the Kuma flashback. Except there, we just got one reaction:

And yeah, that pretty much sums up the Kuma flashback. Pain and sadness. And we saw Bonney's reaction when she finished watching it, this isn't that. This is her falling out of it a second time to bawl her eyes out before pushing back in to finish. And that also sums up the Kuma flashback, relentless pain and sadness, over and over again.

I'm still impressed by the gumption on the ultimate called shot of "You WILL laugh when you find out what the One Piece is".

As Rayleigh said, they might come to a different conclusion.

Don't you know? Fruits that allow people to do crazy godlike powers with the exchange of suffering from crippling ocean weaknesses, short dudes in treasure chests with gigantic green afros, and Pirates spouting crazy nonsense about dreams are a universally understood thing.

Remember what one of the sillier jokes in early One Piece is? That came back around to be reshown in the Oden flashback?

"North Pole! South Pole!" Shanks and Buggy arguing which one is colder.

But now we're talking about sea level rise...

…So who do you guys think is one of the more underrated villains?

I'm going to throw in two cents and say Foxy. Foxy is on a whole different wavelength, and his English voice is stellar. Plus Luffy needed that afro to take him down.

The afro was legit overpowered, I can see why Oda had to bring out that weak Gear 5 thing.

Some people forgot how terrible he really was since he spent Dressrosa and Whole Cake being a chew toy, but Caesar Clown is just a vile, monstrously evil guy. He's just an asshole with no redeeming qualities at all.

Actually, throw Monet up there too, as she was right in there working on the child trafficking while also trying to "be their friend."

I know I seem like I want off topic from the question, but I'm just illustrating that them being so vile and repulsive is what makes them underrated villains to me.

I wonder if the return of the Vivre Cards will get us any more confirmed present-story deaths? Oda seems like he's been more willing to kill people off in Wano and Egghead, but as I've said before, given his record I'm still not buying it just yet...

It occurs to me that the New Fishmen Pirates would have found the reveal in chapter 1113 absolutely hilarious.

One SBS column (during the Whole Cake arc, I believe) where a fan asks Oda why Nami is so mean to Caesar. Oda felt the need to remind this person about Caesar's actions at Punk Hazard.

You know, I don't think we're going to see a Gear 6, but I do think we'll get one or two more "Forms" of Gear 5. Oda's already set up the idea of additional transformations in Gear 5 with Gum-Gum Giant (and the muscle form), and I don't think that'll be the end of it.

Although on that note, given that Luffy was laughing his ass off the entire time he was doing Round 2 with Lucci, I get the feeling he was enjoying every single minute of screwing with him, and demolishing his ass a new one. An uphill battle in the past, but now a breeze in the here and now, all that power.

For I believe that some laughter, includes cathartic laughter, FEELING the power, a sensation I definitely experienced when witnessing some of Luffy's recent feats.
