Ha, I know the manga he's talking about.
When one think of 80s, Japanese inns are the first thing that pops to mind of course.
Hot spring inns in particular.
But also this is a Japan thing, it doesn't achieve the intended effect for anyone else.
Doesn't Japan have those inns since forever?
for me personally, "Japan" and "80s" makes me think of the land bubble, with it's extravagance and conspicuous consumption
Song of the SirensThey make a point that Kinomi spent an unnecessarily large loan to give the inn a modern building
Yeah, but most people alive today weren't alive in the Taisho era.
I finished CQ on the last moment, because my setup was a total jank and relied on me getting two Cinder-Elly buster cards on the first turn. I reset the quest so many time. >_>
Didn't bother with the CQ. Was really lazy on thus event.
The challenge quest made me appreciate once more how stupidly overpowered Castoria and Da Vinci are.
I followed a guide and brutalized the thing in 3 turns with buster team special featuring Santa Martha and Cinder Eli DPS.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysmy motivation to do most CQs has completely tanked since Lores became way easier to grab in events
I just do the C Qs due to "hey, it is a free lore." even if it ends up becoming a struggle.
"If there's problems, there's simple solutions."I'm feeling burned out on FGO, so I didn't have the energy to bother with the challenge quests from the last couple of events. I still need to finish reading this event as well, I started skipping the story around the second movie... I'm having good time with unlocked Interludes though.
Doing the advanced quests and feeling a bit silly regarding the Hector one.
I tried to ram him down as fast as possible and kept failing, then realized. "Wait, 15 hit defense? What am I doing?" and then proceeded to "turtle" the guy with a defensive team instead.
Worked like a charm and I found the irony in it very funny.
"If there's problems, there's simple solutions."Well, I didn't even try the challenging quest for the Taisui event since I had like nothing at the time and the last event's CQ was pretty easy with what I happened to have, but in general I like them for being some of the more challenging content the game has to offer. The lores don't really mean that much to me since they were never something I was ever short on compared to basic mats and QP.
Would be cool if challenge quests offered stuff like rare prisms, blank spirit origins or whatever those are called or at least pure prisms.
Well, back to trying to rush through LB5 while also being very reluctant to hit the skip button. Almost done with Atlantis. I'm hoping to be done with LB6 by Sunday so I can take advantage of the free quest bonus that probably no one else really cares about.

Imagine, just imagine, if the CQ in every event offered a free SSR-ticket if you beat it the first time.
Of course the difficulty would be ramped up if that was the case so the player would feel that they seriously earned that ticket once they beat it, but just imagine if that had been the reward.

"If there's problems, there's simple solutions."That's honestly far too generous to hope for, but I feel like giving an unregistered spirit origin wouldn't be so bad. I mean, hey, that would still give you a free SSR but it would take months to get them. But I suppose even that much might severely cut into profits since people would just hoard them until the day someone like Aoko or Castoria comes out and EVERYONE WANT, but they can just turn in those USOs and suddenly they don't have to buy quartz.
Then again, they would also encourage more investment in the game by making players spend more time and get involved in more events so it's hard to say, at least if you're me and are a complete business layman and can only speculate. Still, crystallized lores just aren't really that desirable of an item anymore.
I beat the CG with immortal team. It's fairly mindless but took 40-something turns. I just didn't while watching a show. Could've probably brute force it but I'm also getting pretty burnt out with FGO and just did it to get at least 1 of the lores in the event. Didn't even bother to clear the point ladder.
I kinda like doing CQ, they can be good fun. Well, some of them, other are so stupidly convoluted I don't even bother.
